Stone temple by a single man

This temple built by a single man over 40 years dedicated to Lord Shiva is worth going. It’s on the Chail -Kufri road on the left side as u go towards Kufri. It’s on a hill top and though it has a drivable road leading right to the top with ample parking on the top but walking up is a good option as you get to enjoy the crisp fresh air n beautiful hillside of course if u can walk. Be careful with SUV’s as the road is narrow and if there is a vehicle coming down u have absolutely no option to manoeuvre and will be in a fix. So if you love walking knot the trek. U can walk right up to the temple and go around it. The inner sanctum was locked when we visited but u can see what is inside. The whole temple n the idols are made from scrap n cement but it’s a site to behold. Love n devotion oozes in each sculpture. Nice view from the top n would say a must visit in Chail
