[ESP-ING] Modo cumpleaños - Birthday mode

Hola hermosa comunidad, ayer no estuve tan activa por aquí porque andaba modo cumpleaños.

Un gran amigo que mi mamá aprecia como si fuera su propio hijo estuvo de cumpleaños ayer. Y bueno fue un día bastante ocupado.

Hello beautiful community, yesterday I was not so active around here because I was in birthday mode.

A great friend that my mother appreciates as if it were her own son had his birthday yesterday. And well it was a pretty busy day.

Él nos invito a almorzar en su casa un rico plato que es de mis favoritos, pasticho. En la tarde estuvimos conversando y compartiendo con su familia como si fuéramos una sola familia. Yo me coloque con una de sus hermanas a decorar el lugar donde nos tomaríamos las fotos en la noche.

He invited us to have lunch at his house, a delicious dish that is one of my favorites, pasticho. In the afternoon we were talking and sharing with his family as if we were one family. I stood with one of her sisters to decorate the place where we would take photos at night.

Todo muy bonito pero cuando estábamos prendiendo para asar la carne, se fue la electricidad. Quedamos a oscuras solo alumbraba la luz de la luna y el fuego. Aún así seguimos compartiendo y riéndonos de las cosas que pasan en mi país como por ejemplo que se vaya la electricidad en momento de celebración, hace un mes paso lo mismo en mi cumpleaños. También compartí con uno de sus sobrinitos que se llama Mathias y con solo dos años me estaba enseñando a bailar.

All very nice but when we were lighting to roast the meat, the electricity went out. We were in the dark, only the light of the moon and the fire lit up. Even so, we continue to share and laugh at the things that happen in my country, such as the electricity going off at the time of celebration, the same thing happened a month ago on my birthday. I also shared with one of his nephews named Mathias and at the age of two he was teaching me to dance.

La electricidad llegó a las 10:30pm, a esa hora ya habíamos comido pasapalos, carne asada con bollito y ensalada. Así que posamos para las fotos y luego cantamos cumpleaños. Llegué a casa a las 11:45pm y estuve meditando en lo feliz que somos a pesar de las situaciones que se puedan presentar, creo que muchos venezolanos hemos entendido que la felicidad es una decisión.

The electricity came at 10:30 pm, at that time we had already eaten appetizers, roast beef with bun and salad. So we posed for photos and then we sang birthdays. I got home at 11:45 pm and I was meditating on how happy we are despite the situations that may arise, I think many Venezuelans have understood that happiness is a decision.
