1.- How do you celebrate women's day.
Actually, for me it's just another normal day. I don't do anything special, as a woman, I consider that I am special and every day I celebrate the fact of being a woman and walking through life, searching, creating and conquering my goals. Although I always keep in mind all the wonderful women who came before us and who have paved the way for us women to have so many rights and freedoms today. For me it is a day of reflection on the conquest of women over the often macho society.
2.- What is your favorite book.
They made it difficult for me. I have two favorite books, one is The Little Prince by Antonie de Saint Exuperi. It is one of the most adorable stories I have ever read, it talks about the value of friendship, human incongruity, and the wonderful value of seeing everything with the eyes of a child. Of course, the book talks about many other things, but it is the first thing that comes to my mind, it also has one of the most famous phrases I have ever heard "What is essential is invisible to the eye".
The other book is The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. It talks about the power of Personal Legends. We all came to this life to live a unique experience and the universe, as long as we are in harmony, will give us all the tools to achieve our legend. Nothing is impossible and everything is perfectly aligned, even the bad things that may happen. Nothing is good or bad, it just is.
3.- How would you describe yourself in 3 adjectives.
My adjectives would be: constant, inquisitive and unique. When I get an idea in my head, it's very difficult for me to let it go, it can take years, but finally I do what I set out to do. I like to find out the why of things, if I don't understand it I don't do it. Finally unique, days ago I found myself saying that I felt like a different kettle of fish in my family and a friend said "you should be proud", you have done things differently, you have dared and blazed a new trail. It doesn't matter if they don't understand, you understand the reasons and even more your soul knows it.
1.- Como celebras el día de la mujer.
La verdad, para mi es otro día normalito. No hago nada especial, como mujer, considero que soy especial y todos los días celebro el hecho de ser mujer y caminar por la vida, buscando, creando y conquistando mis metas. Aunque siempre tengo muy presente a todas las mujeres maravillosas que estuvieron antes que nosotras y quienes han aplanado el camino para que hoy en día, nosotras, las mujeres, tengamos tantos derechos y libertades. Para mi es un día de reflexión, sobre la conquista de la mujer sobre la sociedad muchas veces machista.
2.- Cual es tu libro favorito.
Me la pusieron difícil. Tengo dos libros favoritos, uno es El Principito de Antonie de Saint Exuperi. La razón es uno de los cuentos más adorables que he leído, habla sobre el valor de la amistad, la incongruencia humana, y el maravilloso valor de ver todo con ojos de niño. Por supuesto, el libro habla sobre muchas otras cosas más, pero es lo primero que se me viene a la mente, además tiene una de las frases más celebres que jamás he escuchado “Lo esencial es invisible a los ojos”.
El otro libro es El Alquimista de Paulo Coelho. Habla sobre el poder de las Leyendas Personales. 3.- Como te describirías en 3 adjetivos.
Mis adjetivos serían: constante, inquisitiva y única. Cuando se mete una idea en mi cabeza, es muy difícil que la deje ir, pueden pasar años, pero finalmente hago lo que me propongo. Me gusta averiguar el por qué de las cosas, si no lo entiendo no lo hago. Finalmente única, hace días me encontré diciendo que me sentía harina de otro costal en mi familia y una amiga me dijo “deberías estar orgullosa”, has hecho las cosas de forma diferente, te has atrevido y has abierto un nuevo camino. No importa que no entiendan, tú si entiendes las razones y más aún tu alma lo sabe.
4.- If you could be a man for a day, what is the first thing you would do?
I believe that men and women are different in many aspects, but one of the aspects that separate us the most is physical strength. Men, because of their muscular and bone structure, are more prepared to make certain physical efforts that we women can't do. So if I were a man for one day I would like to be able to handle heavy machinery, a payloader, a backhoe, use a drill.
5.- If you could only have one hobby, what would it be?
I love knitting because it is a tool that puts me in the here and now, it is my form of meditation, when I am stressed I knit, when I have a distressing situation I knit, it relaxes me, it makes me happy, it promotes my imagination and creativity, it is a complete therapy, besides I get to make unique garments and amigurumis.
6.- In which decade would you have liked to live?
In the 50's. I have always felt passionate about the elegance of the dresses that women wore at that time. There was refinement, elegance and style.
4.- Si pudieras ser un hombre por un día ¿Qué es lo primero que harías?
Creo que hombres y mujeres somos diferentes en muchos aspectos, pero uno de los aspectos que más nos separan en la fuerza física. El hombre debido a su estructura muscular y ósea está más preparado para hacer ciertos esfuerzos físicos que nosotras las mujeres no podemos hacer. Así que si fuese hombre por un día me gustaría poder manejar maquinaria pesada, un payloader, una retroexcavadora, usar un taladro.
5.- Si solo pudieras tener un hobby ¿Cuál sería?
Tejer!!!... amo tejer pues es una herramienta que me coloca en el aquí y en el ahora, es mi forma de meditación, cuando estoy estresada tejó, cuando tengo una situación angustiante tejo, me relaja, me hace feliz, promueve mi imaginación y creatividad, es una terapia completa, además que logro hacer prendas y amigurumis únicos.
6.- En que década te hubiese gustado vivir?
En los años 50. Siempre me he sentido apasionada por la elegancia de los vestidos que las mujeres usaban en esa época. Había refinación, elegancia y estilo.

8.- You think women can do men's work.

My aunt was a worker specialized in boat construction, a job mostly done by men, and she managed to become a team leader. My cousin, became a mechanical maintenance technician on a production line and was also a truck driver, a job mostly done by men. So certainly yes, women can do men's jobs.
9.- Phrase that represents you.
It's a bit facetious, but my phrase is "it's too late for later", what I mean by that phrase is, why delay decisions if they can be made now. When you have defined what you are going to do, the best thing to do is to make the decision quickly, before the ideas are diluted. Postponing is not a good idea and that is what I am trying to express with that phrase.

8.- Crees que las mujeres pueden hacer trabajo de hombres.
En los últimos años hemos visto como las mujeres han logrado abrirse paso en el rudo mundo de los hombres. Mi tía fue una obrero especializada en construcción de lanchas, un trabajo hecho en su mayoría por hombres y ella, logró ser jefe de equipo. Mi prima, llegó a ser técnico de mantenimiento mecánico de una línea de producción y también fue chofer de camiones, trabajo en su mayoría ejecutado por hombres. 9.- Frase que te representa.

11.- Your best memory and your greatest fear.
Life gives us countless good memories, so it is a bit complicated to choose just one, but my best memory was when I managed to find my first job, it strengthened my self-esteem, I was just 16 years old.
As for my biggest fear, just a few days ago I wrote a post about it, my biggest fear is a painful disease. But recently I was thinking about it and I asked myself another question, what is the worst thing that can happen? My answer was to die, so I made a decision: I decided to live today as if it were the last day of my life. I will write a post about it in the next few days.
10.- Si te concedieran 3 deseos ¿Qué pedirías?
Hay que tener mucho cuidado con lo que se va a pedir, es una decisión de vida, así que mis tres deseos serían: salud, la capacidad de amar sin expectativas y ser prospera en todos los aspectos de mi vida.
11.- Tu mejor recuerdo y tu mayor miedo.
La vida nos regala innumerables buenos recuerdos, así que es un poco complicado elegir solo uno, pero mi mejor recuerdo fue cuando logré encontrar mi primer empleo, me reforzó mi autoestima, apenas tenía 16 años.
En cuanto a mi mayor miedo, precisamente en días pasados escribí un post sobre ello, mi mayor temor es una enfermedad dolorosa. Pero hace poco estuve pensando al respecto y me hice otra pregunta, ¿Qué es lo peor que puede pasar? Mi respuesta fue morir, así que tomé una decisión: decidí vivir hoy como si fuera el último día de mi vida. En los próximos días escribiré un post al respecto.
