Market Friday Signs downtown

A post for Market Friday hosted by @dswigle, if you haven't followed her yet you should she is one of the kindest and most supportive people here on Steemit, a comment from her is like a ray of sunshine on your page.
This is the one tag and daily challenge that I always make a point of joining, and also look through the posts of others that join the challenge and seeing markets from all around the world.

For this weeks post, I am sharing a few shots from a walk downtown last week, Featuring a few signs outside businesses, Starting with this sign for the Moby Dick brewing Company

New Bedford has a big history of Whaling back in the Day and so the Name and the sign with the Whale tail fit well in that regard, Here is a shot of the Restaurant, as you can see surrounded by cobblestone streets, We haven't checked it out yet but I would like t one day

I went with a Mainly MOno edit for the next shot as the color of the brick wall took away the focus onthe sign, What caught my eye here was initially the sign, and then the contrast with the lower sign for the Fibre Optic centre in contrast with the Beef sign.

The sign for peoples pressed, which sell Juices, as the name suggested to me, but also salad bowls smoothies and other items

And had to include this last sign, for the Old Dartmouth Historical society

The mission of the Old Dartmouth Historical Society, which governs the New Bedford Whaling Museum, is to educate and interest all the public in the historic interaction worldwide of humans with whales; in history of Old Dartmouth and adjacent communities; and in regional maritime activity. To accomplish this the society shall collect, preserve and interpret the artifacts and documentary evidence of these endeavors; maintain a whaling, maritime and local history museum, maintain a library; promote and disseminate historical research; and accept historic sites where appropriate.
