Paneer (cottage cheese) is a delicacy in itself. And when served and eaten as a snack, it actually becomes rich dish. I personally do no like raw cheese but when it comes to grilled cheese, there’s nothing better. This recipe is best cooked with coal in flame but alternatively, it can be prepared in an oven or grilling pan too. Let’s see how we prepare this wonderful recipe.
Step 1: pour the curd in a bowl, add salt, red chilli powder, haldi powder and mix well.
Step 2: make a fine paste of green chillies, garlic and ginger and add to the curd mix.
Step 3: cut the paneer in small cubes of equal size. add them to the curd marination. Mix well and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Step 4: place the marinated paneer cubes in a pre heated oven (200 degrees) and allow it to cook well. Slowly, the paneer will start to turn brown.
Step 5: once the paneer turns brown, take them out in a bowl, add cream, mint chutney, chaat masala, butter and oregano and give it a good mix.
Step 6: Serve hot with onion rings and mint chutney
