Rasgula Made by my Mom

A very popular sweet made at home by my mom.

This sweet is called as rasgula, Its a mashed panneer with sugar water. It is one of the most popular sweets in my place. My mom had made this and we enjoyed it very much, so I thought to share the recipe. First of all you have to boil some milk, after it starts boiling put some lemon juice or any fruit vinegar. Once done it will look like this:

Then you have to knead the panneer until it becomes like a dough, it takes about 5 to 10 mins depending on how much pressure you put on it. Here what it will look like after its kneaded properly:

Then me and my mom made it into circular shapes (the ideal shape, you can do any shape you want) Once they were done we started making the sugar water for the rasgula. It is very simple. Just pour some water and as it starts boiling pour enough sugar to make it a bit thick. Heres the sugar water and the circled rasgulas.

Then put the rasgulas and cover it with a lid, let it stay with the flame for about 10 mins. Uncover the lid and let the rasgulas cool down, They can be served cool or at room temperature. That's it!
