The many ills that are witnessed in this present times is a clear indication that the love of many are already getting cold. You will agree with me that if you have love for the people around you, you will not be part of planning evil against them. Evils are on the increase because the goodness of humans are dwindling. You cannot fight and overcome evil with another evil. The only way you can keep evil at bay is by introducing goodness which is built on love.
There are some laws that would not have been introduced if the law of love is followed to the fullest. As a matter of fact, if love is upheld, you will be surprised how adorable humanity and the human race will be. However, in this era, it is like most people are only focused on what they can gain even at the expense of someone else.
When you get to a point where everything that matters to you is just for yourself and yourself alone, then your love has gone to oblivion. Yes it is true that we should love ourselves but much more than that, what counts is your love for others. There are a lot of spaces for every single person to shine together, so why do you think of bringing others down in order to shine alone?
If you see your fellow humans or your neighbour in need, what comes to your mind first? Love will make you to extend a helping hand first before every other thing. Remember, our humanity should come first even before judgment. There is no amount of inspiration or motivation you give to a hungry person that will make him feel fed. He must eat first before the motivation can come.
There are many people in abject poverty around you for a reason: for you to assist them to stand on their feet. You cannot just confess love with your mouth. Love is substantiated by the actions you put into it and one of these actions is "Giving". No matter how much you claim to love humanity, if you cannot give towards the course of humanity, then the love has no depth.
People may give for very many reasons (like to seek for favour, to impress someone, to get someone's attention, etc) without even loving but there is no way someone can love and not have what to give. Love-based giving is not based on the volume of what is in the hand but from the largeness of the heart.
When your heart is connected in love, your hand will prove it by your giving and your actions will also prove it. The basis of our existence can be summed up in one term "love". If this is kept, then our humanity will not be lost. For the sake of our humanity, we have to let love prevail.
