Today I will only share some photographs of my walk, starting with the Las Lonjas pier, a small fishing port in the city of Cumaná, because since it is Holy Thursday, the fishermen were not working, it was impossible for us buy fish at this pier, so we just stopped by for a walk and then headed to a place near the port where they were selling some of the caberos.

Preparando nuestro bagre

It is tradition these days that our food dishes are prepared with succulent fish, leaving aside the consumption of red meat for this week. Today due to the haste, our dish was simple and fast, so I will tell you how we did to prepare these stewed catfish, the first thing we did was carefully remove the thorns that the catfish carry in their body, then we remove the viscera from their body and to finish we wash well.

In a pan we sauté the dressing, previously chopped, this dressing was chili, onion and garlic. After sautéing the dressing, add the catfish, half a cup of water and cover, leaving about 15 minutes, since the fish tends to cook very quickly. To accompany this delicious catfish stew we made rice, as well as some arepas with corn flour and green bananas.

I hope you have a happy Easter and that these days are of much reflection, asking our God that this pandemic pass as soon as possible.
Cumaná is a very beautiful city, you cannot imagine how sad I came from this city, since being in the middle of a radical week, it is forbidden to visit the beaches and be circulating through the city without having any justification of value, they are only allowed the circulation to security personnel and health employees and one more than another who goes out only to buy medicine or food. So my walk was only one day we went to take some medicine to an uncle, and to buy fish.
The tour ended today at 11:20 am, at which time I was already in my Monagas state, specifically in Punta de Mata.
