La torta de piña es una de las favoritas de mi hermano, así que decidimos prepararle una sorpresa, con ayuda de mi sobrina y mi cuñada. Como todo en la vida, a veces planificamos, pero suelen pasar accidentes, mientras mezclaba los ingredientes de la torta, olvide calentar el horno, así que lo encendí 5 minutos justo antes de introducir la torta y lo coloque al máximo de la temperatura, para que calentara lo más pronto posible.
Nunca había preparado una torta de piña, pero si había tenido la oportunidad de mirar como se preparaba, así que me anime con una sobrina a preparar esta torta, para su papá.
El percance ocurrió luego que saque la torta del molde de la torta, todo se veía perfecto, pero en cuestiones de segundos la torta empezó a quebrarse, así mismo es, la torta se agrieto.
Busqué inmediatamente algo que me ayudará a reparar o unir estas grietas, y mi hermana desde la distancia, vía telefónica, me recomendó rellenar estas grietas con el caramelo de la piña, ya que la torta de piña, lleva un caramelo elaborado con azúcar y piña, este caramelo se agrega al fondo del molde y luego se colocan las rodajas de piñas.
Por suerte el caramelo dio buenos resultados, la torta, fue poco a poco mejorando y sus grietas se ocultaron con este caramelo, la lleve al refrigerador durante varias horas, hasta que llego el momento de llevarla a casa de mi hermano.
Como sabrán en mi país hay un incremento de casos de covid-19, así que solo asistimos unas 10 personas, otro hermano, el cual es el mayor de todos, ese me lleva 5 años, se llama Jesús, los tres hijos de mi hermano Richard, con su esposa, y mis dos hijos. Mi hermano recibió llamadas de varios compadres y amigos, preguntad si iba a celebrar, pero decimos que la reunión fueran solo los tres hermanos que vivimos cerca, así el riesgo de contraer este virus seria menor.
Para acompañar la torta, decidí hacer una docena de cup cake, los cuales hice con jugo de piña, sin duda, la torta quedo con un sabor exquisito, mi cuñada quedo muy contenta con la torta, aunque no pudimos colocar las guirnalda, por el alto costo que tienen aquí en mi país, estas suelen colocarse en el centro de cada rodaja de las piñas, dándole a la torta un color más alegre.
Con la elaboración de esta torta comprendí, que todo tiene solución, así es nuestra vida, aveces se nos presentan esas grietas en nuestra vida, que muchos suelen ocultar, mientras que otros se abren y sacan a la luz, con la intensión de buscar una solución.
Las tortas suelen ser reparadas y con un poco de crema solemos ocultar esos accidentes que se presentan en nuestra vida, pero en lo personal, nosotros no somos un pastel de piña, somos seres humanos, y si hay un deseo, hay un camino, debemos incrementar nuestra confianza y celebrar no solo los años cumplidos de vida, sino cada día en que amanecemos vivos.
