A green grasshopper that jumps on a garden lawn, a small animal that can transform into a destructive locust. Today while I was cleaning my garden, I was surprised by the visit of a beautiful grasshopper, very colorful because of its green color with yellow stripes
Este tipo de insecto suelen llevar una vida solitaria tiene el color de las frescas hierbas que habita y come, pero su color y personalidad cambia cuando empieza a convivir con muchos más de sus congéneres. Cuando estos pequeños animales se encuentran con otros de su especie forma voraces enjambres que destruyen todos los cultivos que encuentran a su paso.
This type of insect usually leads a solitary life, it has the color of the fresh herbs that it inhabits and eats, but its color and personality change when it begins to live with many more of its congeners. When these small animals meet others of their kind, they form voracious swarms that destroy all the crops in their path.
Luego de posar para el lente de mi teléfono, decidí atraparlo y llevarlo fuera de mi jardín, lo más lejos posible, para que su regreso no fuera fácil, seguidamente me detuve a observar algunas de mis plantas y pude notar que la criatura hermosa, estuvo desayunando algunas hojas de mi planta de aguacate.
After posing for the lens of my phone, I decided to catch it and take it out of my garden, as far as possible, so that its return would not be easy, then I stopped to observe some of my plants and I could notice that the beautiful creature was eating some leaves of my avocado plant for breakfast.
Mirando este salta monte, me llego a la memoria la plaga número ocho la cual enviada por Dios, para demostrar al pueblo Egipto por medio de señales sus maravillas y así lograr liberar a su pueblo Hebreo de manos del faraón. La Plaga de las langostas fue tan tenebrosa que las langostas cubrieron toda la tierra de Egipto, consumiendo todos los alimentos, frutos de los árboles, acabando con todo lo verde a su paso.
Looking at this mountain jump, I remember the plague number eight which was sent by God, to demonstrate to the Egypt people through signs its wonders and thus achieve liberation of its Hebrew people from the hands of Pharaoh. The Plague of the locusts was so dark that the locusts covered the entire land of Egypt, consuming all the food, fruits of the trees, destroying everything green in their path.

They devour crops in less than a day. The largest swarms can devour 100,000 tons of plants a day. They are a ruin for farmers and cause famines.
