Hoy les voy a hablar sobre una plantita que hay en mi casa, su fruto es muy rico y saludable es redonda y chiquito.

Si Hivers hace tiempo mi madre y yo plantamos una plantica de uvas sin pensar que se darían ya que por estos las del llano casi no se da este fruto y a veces se da en muy pocas partes.

Como obtuvimos la planta?
Esta planta nos la había regalado una tía por parte de mi mama. Ella tenía una planta de uvas y los bachacos se la acabaron toditica, pero todavía le quedaban hijos y pues nos los regalo, ella no creía que se iban a dar aquí, ya que siempre todas mis tías decían que mi mama no les echaba agua ni nada, y pues no, todos los días las regábamos con agua y le colocábamos abono orgánico y primeramente gracias a Dios se dieron.
How did we obtain the plant?
This plant was given to us by an aunt on my mother's side. She had a grape plant and the bachacos finished it all, but she still had some children left and she gave them to us, she did not believe that they would grow here, because all my aunts always said that my mother did not water them or anything, but no, every day we watered them with water and we put organic fertilizer and first of all, thanks to God, they grew.
Antes en nuestra otra casa teníamos una planta de uvas la cual la habíamos comprado en la acequia. La planta ya estaba súper grande, su tallo era muy grueso, y las uvas poco a poco se estaban dando de color morado. El problemita que tuvimos fue que por motivos de casa tuvimos que mudarnos y la planta de uvas se quedo allá y lamentablemente no fue posible probarlas. Por esta razón queríamos tener esta planta en nuestra nueva casa.
Earlier in our other house we had a grape plant which we had bought from the irrigation ditch. The plant was already very big, its stem was very thick, and the grapes were gradually turning purple. The little problem we had was that we had to move house and the grape plant stayed there and unfortunately it was not possible to try them. For this reason we wanted to have this plant in our new house.
Como fue su crecimiento?
Como en Junio del 2021 la sembramos, la planta estaba súper pequeña, pero a medida del tiempo fue creciendo. Todos los días les regamos un poquito de agua tanto en la mañana como en la noche, también la abonábamos (se refiere a echarle desperdicios de comida como conchas entre otras cosas para que la planta pueda crecer con muchos nutrientes). Como en Diciembre del 2021 ya estaba la planta grande solo que todavía no había echado sus frutos, pero una tía la que nos regalo los hijos nos dijo que había que podarla, ósea quitarle todas las hojas con las manos para que la mata no se maltratara, y pues antes de que se dé la cosecha, debíamos podarla para que produzca frutos, y pues ella nos ayudo a hacerlo la cual no nos llevo mucho tiempo.
How did it grow?
As in June 2021 we planted it, the plant was very small, but as time went by it grew. Every day we watered it with a little bit of water both in the morning and at night, we also fertilized it (it refers to throwing food waste such as shells among other things so that the plant can grow with many nutrients). In December of 2021 the plant was already big but it had not yet borne fruit, but an aunt who gave us the children told us that we had to prune it, that is, remove all the leaves with our hands so that the bush would not be mistreated, and before the harvest, we had to prune it to produce fruit, and she helped us to do it, which did not take us much time.
Ya como en Enero del 2022 se estaban dando las uvas, todos estamos súper felices, ya que no estábamos seguros de que se dieran, porque en estas zonas casi no se dan. Pero gracias a Dios Todo ha sido un éxito ya ahorita en Marzo las uvas están maduras y ya me he comido unas poquitas.
By January 2022 the grapes were already being harvested, we are all very happy, since we were not sure that they would be harvested, because in these areas they are almost never harvested. But thanks to God everything has been a success and now in March the grapes are ripe and I have already eaten a few.
