This week again I am sharing this battle share post before the weekend and its because I have got enough time to draft the post so I did not wait for the weekend. The weekend is one day away and earlier I was able to publish the post in the weekend only however with this lockdown things have changed,
My last battle share post is highlighted by the @splinterlands Weekly Challenge post. A BIG thanks to the wonderful team for highlighting my post and I appreciate their hard work and efforts. Last week's theme was for Nectar Queen from Earth Splinters.
In this post, I am going to share my battle for this week's challenge by @splinterlands and this time theme is Goblin Mech and this card is a common card from the Neutral Monster team in reward edition. This is one of the cards that I use in all my battles where mana is above 20 and even its performance is most of the time goes great.
Stats and Ability
Goblin Mech is one of the powerful cards in a neutral team and it cost 10 mana to have a place in the battle. This mana cost is surely high but looking at its abilities its worth and this card justifies it with its performance. This is a kind of card which I always most of the time in front and sometimes in last when I have mana over 40 approx. Its ability is Piercing and its best one to have for making nice damage to the opponent player.
This mechanical monstrosity is a recent creation of Gurklies Gobson, the wild and wealthy Goblin scientist. As with everything the Goblins make, it runs on Goblin power, meaning that it’s full of Goblins, turning cranks and pulling levers. The Mech is run by seven Goblins in addition to the pilot.
Card Selection and Placement for Battle
This is my battle snapshot and mana was 20 which is not very good and I could choose very few cards in this limited mana. I choose 4 cards that are the best possible cards including Furious Chicken which comes for free.
Here are the names of the playing cards-
- Goblin Mech
- Ruler of the Seas
- Albatross
- Furious Chicken
Out of all these 4 cards, only the first two cards are pretty nice and the last two are just to pick and placed so that it can give some protection to other cards however it did not happen.
Goblin Mech
This is one of my all-time favourite cards because it can be used with all the monsters since its from the neutral team. It cost 10 mana but this 10 is surely worth and I either keep it on the front or at the end. In this battle, I placed it at the front to lead the battle and I did nicely. Once this card was destroyed then another took the battle ahead. This is a theme card for this week's battle share challenge. Goblin Mech price value is 0.01 and 15 DEC token but I think its undervalued card and deserve to have a better price than this. I am also going to level up this card soon.
Ruler of the Seas
I played the battle through the water monster and this is such an awesome card that I have in my water team. This is a card which slightly expensive and costs a few $ to add in the account. I did buy it long back and since then I have been playing all my water battles with this whenever available depending upon the battle theme. Its can hit two cards in one shot and thats what I love about it.
Albatross
Although I use this card various times when I left with one mana and have space to accommodate one card for the battle. I never saw this card making any hits rather it just saves from one hit and thats what I had thought of doing with it.
Furious Chicken
Chicken is surely a nice card and when I play battled with dragon monster then it makes hits also but because I have high-level gold ard with me. But in this battle its just taken to occupy the space and same my another for one-shot abreast but it was not needed in this battle.
Battle Details
I played the battle with LILYAN and this player also had nice cards to play in this battle but my card selection was slightly better and thats why I won the game. The opponent player was playing with the fire monster and had Goblin Mech as the first card. MY second card is RUler of the seas while he had Mantoid which is not as good as my ruler of the seas. Did my strategy work? will I try differently next time?
My Strategy with this battle went the way I wanted to have and once Goblin Mech was destroyed then Ruler of the seas took it ahead of the battle and made me the winner. Goblin Mech is such a wonderful fighter card and Ruler is also not less than this I think.
I have played many battles with this card and I keep on trying different ways to play the game. Even I will try different strategies to play and hope these will be fun too. The mana of the battles was not very good so I got limited cards. I did choose the best possible cards and even the result is pretty nice.
Do you use Goblin Mech? Why or why not?
I have been playing battles with Goblin Mech since the beginning and as I got to see that this is a highly strong card I have in my starter pack that time. Though now I have many other cards which are also very nice but this is still my favourite card to have. My battling experience with this card has been always great and its one of my favorite cards in all the battles as its from the neutral monster. I will be using this card for sure in my future battles with all elements.
