How to survive when you and your baby are sick

It is not a secret that babies often don't feel well or are ill. they still don't have a strong immune system so somehow it must be developed. I've experienced my first attempt to see my baby boy ill. My experience from the previous week is not a surprise.

I didn't feel well for 2 days, some snots and cough which wanted to put me in bed, begging to survive. Well, I have a baby boy who needed my attention during the day so I cope up and tried to give everything to him except the snots.

Everything was well, I've drunk some zinc, vitamin c, some probiotics, and something to clean up my lungs from that mess. Then on the third day, HE GOT SICK. The snots started, I felt so useless because I can't stop he suffer.

I'm not from that Moms who when they see that there is something strange (something like change the color of the 💩 of the baby and to call the emergency) to call a doctor so I waited to see what will happen. Those snots came after crying because he wanted to do some dangerous movements on the window sill and I didn't let him.

The next morning they were like a waterfall.. similar to mine. I called the baby doctor and she told me what to buy to help him. She asked does he cough and if he doesn't then it is not necessary to go to the hospital. Well, he didn't have it so we went to the pharmacy to buy the stuff. She told me to take specific medicaments like drops for his nose, something for allergic reactions (cough), immunostimulant. I bought them .. and when we came back he was hungry, ate and went to sleep. (I've missed the first reception of the medicines). When he wakes up he had some snots but I just wiped them twice and that was all. Of course after crying they were coming again. On the next day, it appeared that his snots are away or it needed 2-3 wipes a day to remove them. His nose was clean - no problems with breathing all the time, except me.

Here I will share what you could use when you are in the same situation as me - cold and cough.

1 Paracetamol

It helps to reduce the fever and high body temperature also helps to heal the body. I drank one before I go to bed.

2 Liquids

When you are I'll almost everything is trying to make feel bad. That's why you must try to drink some more water, teas if you have powers and you have the ingredients try to make some fresh juice. It has lots of vitamins and will help you. Even if you don't have the fruits you can try and drinking boxed juice, it doesn't have so many vitamins, but the sugar in will help you to feel better. there are many people when they got sick who refuse to eat. But how you will beat the virus without food?
#3 Blanket
After the pregnancy, I've realized that I became a more cold person. I mean I feel very often cold. When you are sick or ill you must try to heat yourself especially when you have a fever. This helps to put down the high temperature when you are sweating.

Maybe because of that they call the women "snakes"... who knows

4 Food

Even if you feel bad you must eat. According to me and my situation when I'm sick I make chicken soup. Even drinking the broth will give you more strength to beat that flu. We are not vegetarians so this is our favorite soup.

5 Food supplements

My mother is a clinical laboratory assistant, so according to her and many specialists in my country, most people do not have normal levels of Vitamin D in their bodies. In my country they prescribe to the newborns to "drink" 2 drops of Vitamin D3. this helps them to have stronger bones and to grow healthy. It is good to take some Vitamin C, and Zinc (it helped to not allow the virus sell to connect with your cells according to my doctor).
