Counting down every hour, every minute

This will be my last entry today pre-operation. My daughter will keep updating my journey from her side later.

Covid-19 test returned : NEGATIVE

ECG: My heart looks fine. No one look worried.

General Anesthetic test: Looks ok

My blood: I am low on blood count.

I reassured my daughter everything is ok because they are giving me 1 pint of blood right now. I should be stronger to endure my operation tomorrow at 7:30am.

I know René will be very worried. I hugged her before heading out to the hospital. I am more worried about her, because her left cornea is still very red according to my daughter.

Tomorrow morning she has to go to see her ophthalmologist, and she is not allowed to go to the hospital because of her condition.

I know she wants to be there to wait for me. Our daughter will need to run between hospitals to ensure all is well.

Please pray for our son. His HR management is threatening him to cut his and his team's pay further for trying to take a day off because they needed the project. Pray he will find True Peace when all things seemed uncertain.

That is all I can do for him now. Praying and be the listening ear.

René and I both need to trust in God to take us through. I have been praying and trying to remember Psalms 23 daily.

I asked my daughter to search this for me. It is hard to type with this old man's eyes and feeble thumbs.

This old man here will be very grateful if you can keep me in thoughts and prayers.

God bless you.
Philip
