I can't date the story because I honestly don't remember, but I know that most of the movies in this saga were already out. Probably 2010.
En mi casa, el fanático de Harry Potter era mi hermano, y yo siempre le decía "ay por Dios, ¿qué te gusta de eso? Si son puros hechizos y ya, no sé que le ves". Mi Hno tendría para ese momento los 3 primeros libros. Debo acotar que yo nunca había visto ninguna de las películas, no me llamaban la atención.
In my house, the Harry Potter fan was my brother, and I always told him "oh my God, what do you like about that? If it's just spells, I don't know what you see in it. My brother would have the first three books by then. I must point out that I had never seen any of the movies, they didn't call my attention.
Recuerdo que un sábado en la mañana, yo no tenía nada que ver en la tv, y estaba comenzando la película del primer libro "Harry Potter y la piedra filosofal" y decidí por fin verla. Me atrapó, tanto así que le dije de una vez a mi hermano que me prestara el primer libro para leerlo. Me instalé a leer y solo paraba para ir a comer, el domingo en la tarde, ya había terminado el primero y comenzado el segundo libro "Harry Potter y la cámara secreta".
Leyendo el segundo libro me propuse leer el libro y luego ver la película del mismo. Y así hice con cada uno. Los libros siempre tienen más historia que contar y detalles que no vemos en los films.
I remember that one Saturday morning, I had nothing to do on TV, and I was starting the movie of the first book "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" and I finally decided to watch it. It caught me, so much so that I finally told my brother to lend me the first book to read. I settled down to read and just stopped to go to lunch, on Sunday afternoon, I had already finished the first book and started the second one "Harry Potter and the Secret Chamber".
Reading the second book I set out to read the book and then watch the movie from it. And so I did with each one. Books always have more stories to tell and details that we don't see in films.
Así fue como me apasioné con Harry Potter, e hice que luego me compraran el resto de los libros de la saga -y las películas también-
Con los libros reí, lloré y me puse feliz.. viendo las películas ocurrió lo mismo (aunque ya sabía lo que pasaría jaja).
That's how I got passionate about Harry Potter, and then I had them buy the rest of the books in the saga -and the movies too-
With the books I laughed, cried and was happy... watching the movies the same thing happened (although I already knew what would happen haha).
En la actualidad las películas las he visto miles de veces y no creo que me canse. Los libros me encantaría releerlos. ¿Ustedes han leído alguno? ¿Son fanáticos de la magia cómo yo?
I've seen the movies a thousand times these days and I don't think I'll ever get tired of them. I'd love to reread the books. Have you read any of them? Are you magic fans like me?
