The Diary of Anne Frank starring yours truly in the lead in 1965

I hardly ever go onto Facebook these days as I find myself much more busy on Hive and Whaleshares.

However, I was truly blessed to have been found on Facebook by a friend from 57 years ago - Hilary - when I was 13 and acted in the play Diary of Anne Frank.

The play was produced by her father Emile Wilson.

When she wrote and reminded me of her mother and father, Molly and Emile Wilson, I was blown away.

Many years ago when my late father was still alive, we lived in a house in Amanzimtoti on the North Coast of Natal. My dad stored many of our things (including a photo album of my acting days)- and unfortunately, when we were leaving the house everything from the attic was lost or stolen - can't even remember the details now.

This morning she sent these photographs to me.

Along with my parents, we belonged to a Amateur Drama Society. My whole family acted in their plays.

The third photograph with me standing on the chair at the table is with her brother Kingley Wilson.

The last photograph has my real life father (not in the show) Chris Poulos.

The picture of me waking up from a nightmare is with my stage father.

Hope you enjoy these memories of mine. Will post a bit more about it tomorrow.
