Have you ever noticed some weeks are longer than others? And some are even longer yet! I remember in school we were not supposed to start a sentence with "And". It sure feels god to be a rebel and break all the rules. LOL That goes double for apostrophes too LOL!!
The days here in Michigan are getting a bit longer and a bit warmer as well. Being it is a Friday night, there were even a few folks out cutting up the lake. Still I feel like we are a good three weeks behind in the season compared to last year.
The warming weather affords us the change to get out and move a round a bit. The addition of some low cloud days is a real gift. Seeing that sunshine always makes me want to get out there with a camera and see what I can find to shoot.
There is usually a bird or three that strikes my fancy. The are hard to get a good clear shot of many times. Add to that fact that holding the heavy 100-400mm free hand while shooting add another level of complexity into the equation!
I am always a sucker for repeating figures and also a minimalist flavor. Cant beat a lush meadow for that.
We were exploring some discarded piles of wood and wire, when I noticed this tuff of grass growing from the top of an old fence post. I love shots that show the power of life!
