Japanese Maple leaf catching some of the very rare sunlight here in Michigan.
Oh how we suffer for our art!
When there is a brief period of sunshine, especially in the winter months here in Michigan, you better grab it fast coz it sure wont last!
The weathered sumac looked nice in the field of browns.
We were cursed with yet another blanket of white, so I had to schlep out with a shovel in tow and commence to make getting down the driveway less life threatening. The key word here being less. It is still risky business making it down the slope in one piece, but your chances are a bit better than before my exertion blazed a slightly less slippery path.
The bird bath confirms a good 2 to 3 inches I would say. I hate to ever over exaggerate!
Funny using the Panasonic macro lens makes this thin branch look nearly like a tree trunk lol. Bokeh balls and sunrays are a bonus.
Interestingly if you look close at the outline of the leaf, you will see it ever so slightly
indented the snow :)
Seemed like just yesterday, these flowers were fresh and white and so full of life...
I wish you all a great Tree Tuesday! I am going to get in and try to thaw my fingers and toes now :)
