Pienso que nuestro verdadero poder como seres humanos lo encontramos cuando nos esforzamos en entrenar cuerpo, mente y espíritu de manera balanceada, y con un buen libro se puede incluso entrenar mente y espíritu al mismo tiempo!!

Y si tienes suficientes libros... también puedes entrenar el cuerpo. Si no me crees, intenta hacer sentadillas cargando 1 biblia y 2 enciclopedias! Jajaja

Lo que más me gusta de este libro es que, a pesar de que está redactado como una historia para niños, en realidad deja muchísimos mensajes importantes sin importar la edad que tengas: sobre amor, amistad, motivación personal, de lucha por los sueños, de autoestima, de honestidad y, sobre todo, de humildad ❤️
What I like most about this book is that, even though it is written as a story for children, it actually leaves a lot of important lessons no matter what age you are: about love, friendship, personal motivation, the fight for your dreams, self-esteem, honesty and, above all, humility. ❤️
La edición que tengo yo tiene varios detalles hermosos: Por un lado, está impreso en dos colores! Verde y rojo, los cuales representan dos mundos distintos dentro de la historia. Y por otro lado, me lo regaló mi papá a los 8 años, y es otra razón por la que lo atesoro como a mi vida, ya que mi papá falleció el año pasado. Lo he leído al menos una docena de veces!
La dedicatoria dice: Con todo el amor que puede albergar mi corazón, para mi Reina Niobe I, de tu papá que te adora. San Félix 23-02-2001
The edition I own has several beautiful details: For one thing, it is printed in two colors! Green and red, which represent two different worlds within the story. And on the other hand, it was given to me by my dad when I was 8 years old, and that's another reason for me to treasure it like my life, as my dad passed away last year. I have read it at least a dozen times!

Todo en este libro es precioso, y tal como el anterior, deja importantes moralejas para el espíritu y el corazón, pero si algo debo resaltar, es que el compromiso y la libertad que se refleja en la relación entre el principito y su rosa me enseñaron a entender el poliamor y me ayudó a aceptarlo en mi vida ❤️
Everything in this book is beautiful, and just like the previous one, it leaves important morals for the spirit and the heart, but if I have to highlight something, it is that the commitment and freedom reflected in the relationship between the little prince and his rose taught me to understand polyamory and helped me accept it in my life. ❤️
La edición que tengo yo me la regaló mi pareja, Ender Louis, con quién llevo 9 años de relación. ¡Me encanta que tiene hermosas ilustraciones a color! Yo tengo alma de niña, y los dibujitos me hacen feliz.
The edition I own was given to me by my significant other, Ender Louis, with whom I've been in a relationship for 9 years. I love that it has beautiful color illustrations! I have the soul of a child, and the drawings make me happy.

No me pude decidir entre estos dos libros! Fue tarea imposible. Pero seré breve. Ambos son libros de cuentos más o menos cortos, apuntados al suspenso y el terror, y sus autores son unos maestros en tantear los límites de la psiquis humana y su relación con lo sobrenatural y la muerte.
I couldn't decide between these two books! It was an impossible task. But I will be brief. Both are books of short stories –more or less–, aimed at suspense and terror, and their authors are masters at probing the limits of the human psyche and its relationship with the supernatural and death.
En la niebla tienes que sobrevivir junto a un pequeño grupo de gente evitando que te devoren unos monstruos de otra dimensión, los cuales cruzaron a este lado a través de una misteriosa niebla que cubrió toda la ciudad.
In the Mist you have to survive along with a small group of people avoiding being devoured by monsters from another dimension, which crossed to this side through a mysterious mist that covered the whole city.
Con Horacio tendrás que descubrir qué enfermedad sobrenatural está drenando la vida de tu joven esposa (El almohadón de plumas), o presenciar cómo tus dementes niños se matan entre ellos (La gallina degollada), entre muchas otras desgarradoras historias. Casi nunca falta la sangre en los cuentos de Quiroga!
With Horacio you will have to discover what supernatural disease is draining your young wife's life (The feather pillow), or to witness how your demented children kill each other (The Beheaded Hen), among many other heartbreaking stories. There is almost never a lack of blood in Quiroga's stories!
Estos autores -junto a Edgar Allan Poe- resultaron de suma importancia para mí para entender cómo funciona el género de terror, y más importante aún, para ir aprendiendo a desarrollar de forma magistral un buen cuento corto.
These authors -along with Edgar Allan Poe- were of utmost importance for me to understand how the horror genre works, and more importantly, to learn how to masterfully develop a good short story.
