Authenticity of thought an action close to success

Introduction

Sometimes it is often heard the statement that some people are unique in their style and way of thinking, this is associated with their way of seeing the world, projection of ideas and consolidation of goals.

These characteristics derive from the personality and not necessarily from the image or appearance, even some people do not show signs of what will be their behavior, being the final results the faithful sample of their level of thinking.

Authenticity can be considered authentic to everything that is true, true and that shows signs of security. An authentic thought reflects the originality of the person with more than enough preparation about his actions, showing himself as he is without the need to hide anything or misrepresent the facts.

Authenticity allows people to be mostly accepted in the social environment giving an idea of trust and desire to delve into the personality of the individual. The management of authentic information brings results to the organization since it represents an indisputable resource at the time of the debate or the realization of proposals. The quality of the information will condition progress and performance.

Application of authentic thinking

Seen from a philosophical point of view, authenticity is deeply linked to human psychology and can have an impact on the masses to the point of changing group trends and tastes. To the extent that someone becomes more aware of himself and is able to accept himself as he is, to that extent he will be able to accept others and generate influence.

Historical contributions

Authenticity plays a relevant role in: Art, writing, music, ideology, religion and culture.

It is supposed to be something properly documented and coming from a source of indisputable origin therefore it functions as an existential virtue related to the total surrender to the ethical and moral principles of the human being reaching beyond understanding and eagerness for the search of truth.

Art

Most of the ancient works of art are appreciated for their authenticity, some painters such as: Francisco de Goya, Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dalí are valued for being practitioners of the "Authentic" and make proposals of art of generational impact properly evaluated and documented.

Music

Classical musicians such as Mozart and Beethoven, managed to capture in their art an extract of romanticism and the medieval era where they took into account qualitative aspects of the "musical composition that are widely approved by the genre until the present era, being considered "authentic" for their study, documentation and originality capable of moving human feeling.

Philosophy of authenticity

In the same way that philosophy represents a mental and psychological function of the human being practiced since ancient times that consists in the search for the principle of every cause, the human being has always devised methods that bring him closer to the authentic and the original in order to be accepted in social groups and generate lasting contributions easily assimilated by the collective. Becoming one of the characteristics of the "authentic" since according to its uniqueness it will have a greater added value and indisputable character that makes it remain throughout history.

In order to expand the concept of authenticity and authentic thinking I wanted to quote a thought of the renowned psychoanalyst and philosopher Erich Fromm who generated great contributions in this matter throughout his humanistic career.

Authenticity according to Erich Fromm

"He considered behavior of any kind, even that which is entirely in accordance with social mores, to be authentic if it results from personal understanding and approval of its impulses and origins, rather than simply by conformity to the received wisdom of society. Thus an authentic medium may behave consistently in accordance with cultural norms, for the reason that those norms seem deemed appropriate, rather than simply the interest of complying with current standards." quote source

Erich Fromm's proposal leads to think that authenticity is an innate quality of the human being and it is present when there is a motivation to accept oneself as well as the social role one plays, and there must also be a high degree of commitment on the part of the individual and conform to certain rules.

Opinion

"According to my own criteria, authenticity derives from the human being and his desire for self-improvement, taking as a reference the other proposals issued by social groups who in turn must validate his outstanding and trustworthy condition, which is honored for being feasible and endowed with good intentions."

Final thoughts

Authentic thinking adds value to the simplicity of actions by behaving more like a natural gesture than a complex or difficult process to assimilate. It has many applications in art, culture and organization and can encompass concepts that lead to leadership and brand positioning. It is very useful for business marketing by companies or to add value to works of art in the cultural field. Authentic thinking is a topic widely discussed by psychology emphasizing its ancient origin to impact the masses and social environment.

In conclusion we speak of authenticity to the condition of showing the arguments of transcendental actions or facts carried out as an act of good faith and that its end can be considered as a genuine and lasting contribution to humanity globally accepted by all instances.
