Saved of an Infection, our fluted pumpkin is now growing well.

Hello Hiveians

We almost lost the fluted pumpkin plant.

After giving us a continuous update of the development and growth of our pumpkin plant right in the small family garden by the side of the house.

We came to a stand still when the plant got infected with a certain foliage disease that makes the leaves to fold and even the growing seeds to wither.

I made a post comparing healthy leaves with the sick ones and even how the numerous seeds and seed buds of the plant got withered away in this particular post .
The search for a solution continued until we got an agronomist involved who came to analize the situations.

He got a certain chemical whose name I have forgotten but will have to put a call across later today so I can keep record of this in the event of a future similar experience.

Least I forget to say, the infection started from the fluted pumpkin and spread to all other plants in the garden including the okra yams and medicinal plants.
Every leaves in the garden was folding and withering.

The agriculturist saved our garden after he brought the chemical with his safety equipment and have everywhere sprayed.

Well I wasn't allowed to come close or stay around the house as the chemical substance is highly poisonous and I have weak immunity.
Even the smell of petroleum and petroleum products affects my health.

Now am glad to say that our garden has been saved and we have a huge fluted pumpkin bud awaiting for the seeds to become more mature before we harvest and replant them.

Just in case you need the name of the chemical, I will make a quick call and drop it here for reference purpose.

Thanks for reading.
