(English version below)

Feliz y bendecido presente Hivers!!!

Enjoying a sunny day at the beach

(Women, Happiness and Water Month Contest)

Happy and blessed present Hivers!!!!

In recent days my friend @mau189gg participated in an initiative of @thekittygirl sponsored by @theterminal which consisted in creating a Contest to motivate the participation of Hivers, and had a great idea to promote in this month the creation of content based on 3 important celebrations of this month of March. These are:
International Women's Day
International Day of Happiness
World Water Day

The contest consists of making a publication that gathers these 3 elements. To be honest, when I read the invitation I thought it sounded great, but nothing came to my mind that I could write about combining these three themes together.

Until I was going through my phone and I came across some pictures of a trip I took to the beach 3 weeks ago and I said to myself: "Here it is!!!", I'm going to share the experience I had at the beach that made me very happy.

To begin with I must tell you that it had been exactly one year since the last time I had the opportunity to go to the beach, before it was something I did more frequently (at least once a month) but with the pandemic issue all the activities outside the house have been quite limited.

Some friends invited me to go to the beach from one day to another, without much planning, and after much thought I accepted, and I took that day of relaxation and disconnection so longed for.

Playa1.jpg

We had planned to go to Cata Bay, I was very excited because I did not know it and I have seen beautiful pictures of that place, but given the restrictions of movement we changed the route and went to Naiguatá.

Just by placing my feet on the sand I felt super happy, the breeze ruffling my hair, the smell of the beach awakening all my senses and the excellent company of my friends made me feel very excited.

I ran into the water like a little girl to take a dip and suddenly I was stopped by the freezing water freezing my feet... well yes!!!! I think I have more courage to go through a dark tunnel than to take a bath in cold water.

I went back and meditated on the shore for a while, admiring the blue sky, the birds flying almost at my shoulders and the movement of the waves that came and went with force, until I got warm enough to encourage me to try again to take the dip.

A couple of minutes passed while I submerged myself completely in the water... after that the experience was magical, I acclimated myself to the water and swam for a while. I asked the water to purify me and transmute any negative energy.

The connection with water for me is very important, it is a very healing and purifying element. It has to do with emotions, which are just like that swaying of the waves and if you go into it, you can learn one of its greatest teachings: Flow!!!!

Flow with the river of life, in its narrow and wide parts, with its ups and downs, with its coming and going.

Water can also teach us to be moldable, to adapt to any space, and all these virtues lead us to a happier life and well-being!!!!

That day was pure joy. I believe that in every experience we have in life we have the possibility to choose how to live it, from love or from fear, from happiness or bitterness, from joy or sadness.

That day I had the opportunity to see many happy people, especially children, but I also observed a few long faces and some complaining people.

Anyway, Being Happy is a day-to-day choice that is in our hands, we are responsible for our choices and what we experience, and every day we are presented with this wonderful opportunity to decide.

What do you choose?

Ahhhhh... And I forgot, I took a spectacular picture and that made me very happy because I have no photography skills and that day I made quite a few attempts to capture the image of a Bird gliding over the water, until I did it!!!! I hope you like it.

This is my entry to the Contest promoted by @mau189gg, I solved the equation posed this way: I shared how a Woman (Me) went out to the beach and was very happy because she was able to swim in the water and sunbathe on a nice beach day.

I invite my friend @graciadegenios to participate in this Contest.
