Tell us your real story of love or friendship: how did it all begin and how have they remained until now?
Nuestra Historia de Amor, Nerio y Mayra
Nos conocimos en casa de su abuela, yo visitaba a mi tía María que estaba casada con su tio Elvis, allí cruzamos miradas pero nada más. Luego en agosto de 1996 llego el nacimiento de nuestra primita, todos emocionados por ver a la recién nacida, nos trasladamos al hospital y mientras esperábamos en el estacionamiento volvimos a vernos y comenzamos a conversar y a conocernos.
We met at her grandmother's house, I was visiting my aunt Maria who was married to her uncle Elvis, there we exchanged glances but nothing else. Then in August of 1996 the birth of our little cousin arrived, all excited to see the newborn, we moved to the hospital and while we waited in the parking lot we met again and began to talk and get to know each other.
Allí comenzó nuestra historia de amor, con la excusa de visitar a nuestra prima en común empezamos a frecuentarnos yo me pasaba de la universidad para verla y el amablemente me acompañaba hasta mi casa, pasábamos largos ratos conversando de camino a mi casa nos veníamos a pie solo para compartir más tiempo. Nos hicimos novios en Diciembre de ese mismo año y en Marzo de 1997 nos unimos en matrimonio.
There our love story began, with the excuse of visiting our cousin in common, we began to frequent each other, I went from the university to see her and he kindly accompanied me to my house, we spent long hours talking on the way to my house, we came on foot just to share more time. We became engaged in December of that same year and in March 1997 we did not join in marriage.
Hoy en día tenemos 23 años 10 meses y 23 dias de feliz matrimonio civil, un hogar acogedor y dos hermosas hijas.
Today we have 23 years 10 months and 23 days of happy civil marriage, a cozy home and two beautiful daughters.
Con el pasar de los años nuestro amor se ha fortalecido somos el uno para el otro, hacemos casi todo juntos. Hemos compartido buenos y malos momentos siempre tomados de la mano superando toda adversidad.
Over the years our love has grown stronger we are for each other, we do almost everything together. We have shared good and bad moments always holding hands overcoming all adversity.
Sólo espero que Dios siga bendiciendo nuestro amor por siempre...
I just hope that God continues to bless my love forever...
