Estoy de vuelta con la sección de "Mi Yo Actual", (si quieren saber de qué se trata esta sección pueden leer el principio de este post) y esta vez les hablaré de mi capricho de esta semana, el capricho 11 de Rode.
I am back with "Current Me" section, (if you want to know what is this section about you can read the beginning of this post) and this time I will talk about the caprice of the week, Rode Capriche 11.
Pierre Rode
Comencemos con el compositor, Pierre Rode, un francés nacido en Bourdeaux, quien se mudó a Paris a los 14 años a estudiar violín y composición con Giovanni Viotti, uno de los personajes más importantes de la música en país en ese momento. Rode se volvió tan importante que era el violinista personal de Napoleon y Beethoven escribió su última sonata para violín para él.
Let's start with the composer, Pierre Rode, a french born in Bordeaux in 1774, who moved to Paris when he was 14 years old to study violin and composition with Giovanni Viotti, one of the most important musical characters in the country at that time. Rode became so important that he was personally the violinist of Napoleon, and Beethoven wrote his last violin sonata to him.

Sus 24 caprichos fueron publicados en 1813, y estos fueron una de las mayores contribuciones al repertorio avanzado violinístico, ya que dichos caprichos abordan destrezas técnicas importantes. Estos fueron escritos a través de un círculo de quintas, presentando todas las tonalidades mayores, seguidas de sus relativas menores.
His 24 caprices were published in 1813, and these were one of the greatest contributions to advanced violinist repertoire, because these caprices have important technique skills. These were written through the circle of fifth, presenting all the major keys and their relative minor.

Caprice 11 is in B major. This is an allegro brillante that works bow distribution, the connection of strings crossing, intonation and agility. A demanding capriche, without any doubt. I would like to share with you an excerpt of this below.
