Apenas nos estamos acercando a Halloween pero yo solo puedo pensar en que se acerca el mes más bonito del año, diciembre y con él la navidad, mi época favorita y la que siempre espero con ansias pero más aún cuando ya se acerca, me emociona todo el tema de esta hermosa festividad y es por esta razón que el día de hoy me quiero unir a la iniciativa de @carmenvmc en la cual les contaré cuales son las cosas que más amo de esta época, espero que se puedan animar y contar también sus razones, sin mas que decir, aquí se las dejo.
We are just getting close to Halloween but I can only think that the most beautiful month of the year is approaching, December and with it Christmas, my favorite time and the one I always look forward to but even more when it is approaching, everything excites me the theme of this beautiful holiday and it is for this reason that today I want to join the @carmenvmc initiative in which I will tell you what are the things that I love the most about this time, I hope you can cheer up and also tell your reasons, without more to say, here I leave them.
Muchas veces entre tantas obligaciones no tenemos tiempo de compartir con nuestra familia o amigos, pero, al menos en mi caso diciembre es la época perfecta para hacerlo, amo poder planear reuniones para compartir y viajar para los reencuentros, no necesariamente debe ser un 24 o 31 de diciembre, cualquier día de este mes es ideal para ver a esas personas que no vemos desde hace mucho tiempo.
Many times among so many obligations we do not have time to share with our family or friends, but, at least in my case December is the perfect time to do it, I love being able to plan meetings to share and travel for reunions, it should not necessarily be a 24 or December 31, any day of this month is ideal to see those people we have not seen for a long time.
Otra de las cosas que más amo de esta época es la comida y la cena navideña y fin de año en especial, la comida tradicional de esta época es propia de esta celebración, por lo tanto en el resto del año no es muy común consumirla y generalmente es por lo costoso que es preparar todos estos alimentos, las hallacas además de muchos ingredientes requieren de trabajo, a veces tenemos la oportunidad de degustar una en cualquier momento del año pero pienso que es mejor esperar hasta diciembre, así no se perdería la emoción de esperar hasta esta época para poder comer este tipo de comida que por mi parte es de las mejores cosas de la navidad al igual que reunirse en familia para organizar todo y hacer los preparativos.
Another of the things that I love the most about this time is the food and the Christmas dinner and especially the end of the year, the traditional food of this time is typical of this celebration, therefore in the rest of the year it is not very common to consume it and Generally, it is because of how expensive it is to prepare all these foods, the Hallas in addition to many ingredients require work, sometimes we have the opportunity to taste one at any time of the year but I think it is better to wait until December, so the excitement would not be lost. to wait until this time to be able to eat this type of food that for my part is one of the best things of Christmas as well as getting together as a family to organize everything and make preparations.
De niños una de las ilusiones más grandes de la navidad es recibir los regalos, pero, por mi parte aun siendo adulta es algo que me sigue emocionando de la navidad, a esta edad ya no se trata del Niño Jesús o Santa Claus, sino más bien de dar y recibir regalos, hacer intercambios con familiares o amigos, la emocionante idea de adivinar quién será la persona que nos dará un obsequio y que será lo que nos dará, abrir nuestros regalos y emocionarnos aún más por ese hermoso detalle, y si somos cuidadosos podemos conservar ese obsequio como un recuerdo de ese momento, entre todas las cosas que trae la navidad consigo esta es una de las que mas disfruto.
As children one of the greatest illusions of Christmas is receiving gifts, but, for my part, even as an adult, it is something that continues to excite me about Christmas, at this age it is no longer about the Child Jesus or Santa Claus, but more well of giving and receiving gifts, making exchanges with family or friends, the exciting idea of guessing who will be the person who will give us a gift and what it will give us, open our gifts and get even more excited about that beautiful detail, and if We are careful we can keep that gift as a memory of that moment, among all the things that Christmas brings with it this is one of the ones I enjoy the most.
