¡Feliz Noche Amigos de Hive!
Hoy me siento muy nostálgica porque hoy 24 de Febrero se cumple 1 año de la última vez que vi a mi mejor amiga @corimarstorys y a mis ahijados (sus hijos) Santiago y Alanis. Mi amiga y yo llevamos casi 7 años de amistad y en todo este trayecto nunca habíamos pasado tanto tiempo sin vernos como ahora. Cuando la conocí vivíamos muy cerca una de la otra, apenas debía caminar unos 2 minutos para llegar a su casa ¡muy cerca! y hoy en día, desde hace 4 años nos separa una gran distancia que desde el inicio nos ha impedido vernos con la misma frecuencia, sin embargo, lográbamos reunirnos en diferentes ocasiones, cumpleaños, navidad e incluso en cualquier oportunidad que nos presentara, siempre aprovechábamos para vernos, y por su puesto, para renovar nuestras fotografías juntas.

Today I feel very nostalgic because today February 24th marks the 1st year of the last time I saw my best friend @corimarstorys and my godchildren (her children) Santiago and Alanis. My friend and I have been friends for almost 7 years and in all this journey we have never gone as long without seeing each other as now. When I met her we lived very close to each other, I only had to walk about 2 minutes to get to her house, very close! And today, for 4 years a great distance separates us that from the beginning has prevented us from seeing each other with the same frequency, however, we managed to meet on different occasions, birthdays, Christmas and even in any opportunity that presented us, we always took advantage to see us, and of course, to renew our photographs together.
Hace un año que no veo a mi mejor amiga || I haven't seen my best friend in a year
El año 2020 no fue nuestro mejor año, fueron muchas las causas que influyeron para evitar nuestro reencuentro, la escasez de combustible, la pandemia, la distancia y cada vez parecían aparecer más y más inconvenientes. El año pasado apenas nos vimos 3 veces, (en mi cumpleaños, en San Valentin y en Carnavales) y en cada una de estas ocasiones disfrutamos y compartimos mucho, aún sin saber que no podríamos vernos más.
The year 2020 was not our best year, there were many causes that influenced us to avoid our reunion, the fuel shortage, the pandemic, the distance and more and more inconveniences seemed to appear. Last year we barely saw each other 3 times (on my birthday, Valentine's Day and Carnival) and on each of these occasions we enjoyed and shared a lot, even without knowing that we couldn't see each other again.
Nuestro último encuentro
La última vez que nos vimos fue un encuentro planeado, luego de San Valentín habíamos acordado vernos nuevamente en carnaval y así fue. Yo estaba ansiosa por verla a ella y a mis ahijados y pasar un lindo día junto a ellos, pues ya que era el último día de carnaval había un evento en el centro comercial que frecuento mucho, así que los invité para ir ese día hasta allá a compartir.
Llegaron a mi casa a eso de las 5 de la tarde, y yo estuve muy feliz de recibirlos en mi hogar. Mi pequeño Santiago llegó con su disfraz de "V de Vendetta" estaba muy contento por llevar su disfraz y no se quitaba su máscara.
Our last meeting
The last time we saw each other it was a planned meeting, after Valentine's Day we had agreed to meet again at the carnival and it was. I was eager to see her and my godchildren and spend a nice day with them, because since it was the last day of carnival there was an event in the mall that I frequent a lot, so I invited them to go there that day to to share.
They arrived at my house around 5 in the afternoon, and I was very happy to receive them in my home. My little Santiago arrived with his "V for Vendetta" costume, he was very happy to wear his costume and he did not take off his mask.
Santiago quería mucho a Sheldon, mi cachorro y al verlo inmediatamente comenzó a jugar con el y a el Sheldon le gustaba, lo más curioso pero más lindo a la vez es que Santiago me dijo "Tómame una foto con Sheldon" y para eso si se quitó la máscara, me pareció muy lindo que me pidiera eso y por supuesto le tomé la foto que quería.
Santiago loved Sheldon very much, my puppy and when he saw him he immediately began to play with him and he liked Sheldon, the most curious thing but most beautiful at the same time is that Santiago told me "Take a picture with Sheldon" and for that if he took off the mask, I thought it was very nice that he asked me that and of course I took the photo he wanted.
Luego de eso nos fuimos a casa de mis suegros a visitar para posteriormente ir al centro comercial a ver el evento de carnaval. Mientras estábamos allí fuimos al parque de la urbanización para que los niños jugaran un rato y aprovechamos para tomar unas lindas fotos. Santiago estaba muy contento, subió a todos los juegos y apenas le pude tomar una foto, pues estaba inquieto corriendo y jugando.
After that we went to my in-laws' house to visit and later go to the mall to see the carnival event. While we were there we went to the park of the urbanization for the children to play for a while and we took the opportunity to take some beautiful photos. Santiago was very happy, he went to all the games and I could hardly take a picture of him, as he was restless running and playing.
Santiago es mi primer ahijado y lo amo como si fuera un hijo, ha sido la primera personita en pedirme la bendición y con quien he compartido desde que nació, a pesar de que ya no lo veo casi siempre lo extraño y quisiera que volvieran esos tiempos en los que podía verlo a diaro. Ya que no es así, siempre que lo veo me tomo una foto con el para recordar esa última vez que lo vi, y en este caso, estas son nuestras últimas fotos.
Santiago is my first godson and I love him as if he were a son, he has been the first little person to ask me for my blessing and with whom I have shared since he was born, even though I no longer see him almost always I miss him and I would like those times to return in which I could see it daily. Since it is not like that, whenever I see him I take a photo with him to remember that last time I saw him, and in this case, these are our last photos.
Por otro lado, Alanis en ese entonces tenía 5 meses, muy pequeñita aún pero no faltó una foto con ella. Ella siempre estaba seria, no sonreía en las fotos por más gracias que le hiciera, todo lo contrario a Santiago, pero de igual forma es una niña muy adorable y dulce.
On the other hand, Alanis was 5 months old at that time, still very small but there was no lack of a photo with her. She was always serious, she did not smile in the photos, no matter how much funny I did to her, quite the opposite to Santiago, but in the same way she is a very adorable and sweet girl.
Mi amiga y yo hablamos mucho ese día, hacíamos planes para los próximos reencuentros, los cuales lamentablemente nunca se dieron. Entre tanto hablar también nos tomamos una foto, no podía faltar para recordar ese increíble día.
My friend and I talked a lot that day, we made plans for the next reunions, which unfortunately never happened. In the meantime we also took a picture, we could not miss to remember that incredible day.
Se hizo de noche y ellos debían irse a casa, ya que el viaje de regreso era largo, por lo cual no pudimos ir al evento de carnaval al que habíamos planeado, sin embargo, pasamos una linda tarde juntos compartiendo, riendo y eso fue aún más importante. Ese encuentro fue posible gracias a mi amiga, que pudo ir hasta mi casa aún estando tan lejos. Desearía poder verla de nuevo pero hasta ahora no se ha podido cumplir ese deseo, de igual forma me gustaría poder ver a mis ahijados, un año sin verlos ha sido mucho, sobretodo con Alanis, que ya no debe recordarme ya que la última vez tenía 5 mese y hoy en día tiene más de un año, ha crecido tanto y no he podido estar con ella en ese proceso.
Se que llegará el momento de vernos nuevamente y deseo con ansias que sea muy pronto, mientras tanto nos mantenemos comunicadas por todas las redes sociales y estamos siempre al tanto una de la otra, pero aun así, los extraño mucho amiga 💔
It got dark and they had to go home, since the return trip was long, so we could not go to the carnival event we had planned, however, we spent a nice afternoon together sharing, laughing and that was still more important. That meeting was possible thanks to my friend, who was able to go to my house even though it was so far away. I wish I could see her again but so far that wish has not been fulfilled, in the same way I would like to be able to see my godchildren, a year without seeing them has been a long time, especially with Alanis, who should no longer remember me since the last time she had 5 months and today she is more than a year old, she has grown so much and I have not been able to be with her in that process.
I know that the time will come to see each other again and I look forward to it very soon, meanwhile we keep communicated through all social networks and we are always aware of each other, but even so, I miss you a lot friend 💔
