La primera vez que vi a mi amor fue en la universidad en la Facultad de Ingeniería, llegué al ala C buscando mi salón de clases y él ya estaba allí esperando entrar. Al verlo lo saludé y llamó mi atención lo guapo que era, por lo que me senté a su lado cuando entramos al salón. Así nos conocimos y comenzamos a hablar, nos dimos nuestros números telefónicos y desde ese día fuimos inseparables, nos flechó cupido.

The first time I saw my love was in college in the College of Engineering, I came to wing C looking for my classroom and he was already there waiting to enter. When I saw him I greeted him and it caught my attention how handsome he was, so I sat next to him when we entered the room. That is how we met and began to talk, we gave each other our phone numbers and from that day on we were inseparable, Cupid struck us.
Una unión que ha perdurado por 33 años
Mi esposo y yo estudiamos toda la carrera universitaria juntos, hasta hicimos la tesis y las pasantías en la misma empresa. Fueron muchos momentos y anécdotas para contar que siempre voy a recordar.
Luego de graduarnos y 7 años de novios nos casamos por el civil en una ceremonia muy sencilla, estábamos comenzando a trabajar y no teníamos para pagar una gran boda. Fuimos bendecidos con una hermosa hija y ya hoy tiene 23 años, ella es nuestro regalo de Dios.
A union that has lasted for 33 years
My husband and I studied the entire university career together, we even did the thesis and the internships in the same company. There were many moments and anecdotes to tell that I will always remember.
After graduating and having been engaged for 7 years, we were married in a civil ceremony in a very simple ceremony, we were starting to work and we didn't have to pay for a big wedding. We were blessed with a beautiful daughter and she is already 23 years old today, she is our gift from God.
Juntos en la salud y en la enfermedad.
Palabras ciertas en nuestro caso, ya que en el año 2007 fui diagnosticada con cáncer, pero mi esposo siempre estuvo allí para darme fuerzas y ser mi bastón cuando no podía caminar. Él nunca se separó de mi lado y le hizo la promesa a la virgen de Chiquinquirá, patrona de Maracaibo, de casarnos por la iglesia cuando terminara mi tratamiento de quimioterapia.

Certain words in our case, since in 2007 I was diagnosed with cancer, but my husband was always there to give me strength and be my cane when I could not walk. El 27 de Diciembre del año 2008 nos casamos por la iglesia ante la presencia de familiares y amigos, ese día fue muy especial y emotivo, yo me sentía feliz y sobre todo libre de cáncer.
El pasado mes de Diciembre del año 2020 cumplimos 25 años de casados, nuestras Bodas de Plata.

On December 27, 2009 we got married in the church in the presence of family and friends, that day was very special and emotional, I felt happy and above all cancer free.
