Hey everyone, new guy here. I wish I knew about Hive earlier, but here I am now, and I know it's never too late to start, or to learn, no matter what. I'm excited to be a part of the Hive community, and as a tradition for new users, I have to introduce myself.

I'm Kenzzi, a Nigerian, trying to make the most of life, one day at a time. I was born in Nsukka, and I grew up there, but when I finished primary school, I moved to Enugu, and have lived there since. I spent 6 years in a boarding school, and after I graduated, I was lucky enough to be admitted into a University.

Yup. That's me. 👆🏽

I'm a 500 level medical student studying at University of Nigeria, Nsukka. We're currently doing our hospital postings where we learn with real life outpatient and inpatient cases, and surgical cases too. This is one of the best parts of my medical training, because I interact with a lot of patients and I gain insight and receive lectures from Consultants and Professors.
I still have a long way to go, but I'll always hold dear the privilege it is to be a doctor, living for others and having a direct positive impact on their lives.

I enjoy watching football, but I'm not very good at playing so I just play when I get the chance.
I'm a red blooded Arsenal fan. I've supported Arsenal since I was little. There were players who I admired, they endeared me to the club, and I also loved the manager, Arsene Wenger. I knew Thierry Henry, and I didn't really watch him the time he played for Arsenal, but I watched him in Barcelona and after his brief return to Arsenal in 2012. Cesc Fabregas, Robin Van Persie, Mesut Ozil, Theo Walcott, Santi Cazorla, Wilshere, Rosicky, Arshavin, among many other names were all players who captivated me over the years. Cesc and RVP left in a bad way, sort of, but I still love them.
I've never been to the Emirates Stadium because well, I live in Nigeria. I know I'll be there one day, it's just a matter of time (years if I'm being honest).

Sadly, I've never witnessed my club lift the Premier League trophy, or the Champions League trophy since I started watching football. This season could've been it, but we fumbled the three games before Manchester City and handed them the title after they beat us at the Etihad.
In between all of this though, we've won many trophies, lifting the FA cup and Community shield a good number of times.

My favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, The Greatest Player of all time. He is just a joy to watch and I've never seen a player like him. I defend him all the time and I've had great times over the years with Messi vs Ronaldo banter. I enjoyed the good times with all the goals, trophies, and individual awards, and hated the bad times and the heartbreaks in the Champions League and Copa America. I supported Barcelona because he played for them and the greatest joy I've ever had as a football fan, was when Argentina won the World Cup last year in Qatar.

I have to read, or else I'll fail my exams. I read textbooks, not the popular books you think people read when they tell you. I'm a med student, so it's natural to spend my time with medical and surgical textbooks, pathology and pharmacology among others. This is to build my knowledge, and to get me through school, but I've come to love it, and now, reading gives me pleasure.

I'm an artist, but only good with drawing. Actually, I'm a very good draftsman, and I can draw anything I can see with a pencil in my hand. It's one of my talents. School takes my time away from a lot of things, and I haven't been able to properly focus on my art the last few years. At this point I don't even know where all my sketch pads are.

From VHS tapes, to VCDs, to DVDs, to netflix and other streaming services, cinemas and all, I've always loved movies. I've watched every single movie and TV show in the marvel cinematic universe, among many other movies of different genres, old and new. I've watched a lot of series too, and I have a list of some I'll watch whenever I have the time for them.
Started watching anime not long ago and I've only been able to finish one.

I love music but I can't say what kind. I just like what I like, and once a song hits, it hits. I love Eminem, Burna Boy, Falz, Imagine Dragons, Adele, Sia, Avicii, Ed Sheeran, 2 Baba, Phyno, and many more. So yeah, I don't have a specific taste, I love a lot of artists, and a lot of songs.

I play Chess and Checkers (Draughts). Not a pro or anything I'm just average, but I'm always trying to improve. My favorite checkers board is the 12 × 12 board (Canadian checkers). Having many pieces gives me a better chance at recovering when I'm at a disadvantage. If there's anyone here who wants a game on lichess, we can arrange that.

I've played video games since Sega, and Playstation 1 to 5 (never used Xbox). I also borrowed and played with handheld game consoles like Nintendo ds and Gameboy advance from my friends.
Among my favorite games are FIFA, PES (now efootball), Mortal Kombat, god of war, devil may cry, Chaos legion, the list goes on.

I also love playing other indoor and outdoor games, like Table tennis, paintball, playing card games, ludo, snakes and ladders, and mobile online games too, Free Fire, Call of duty mobile and others.

I've since cut back on the time I spend playing games, and it helped me manage my time properly, and increase my productivity while focusing on school work.

Generally, I'm a nice, likeable person. Some days I'm alive, other days I'm on my bed. I'm creative, hardworking, flexible, trustworthy, humble and ambitious.
My greatest bad habit is procrastination. I'm trying to break it, but I haven't been able to because I've repeatedly proven to myself that I can get things done at the last minute.
One day, I might get choked by a task, and that's when I'll finally learn my lesson. For now, I try to avoid stress and take on each day as it comes.

This is my first crack at being a content creator, that's if I don't count the memes I always post on my WhatsApp status. I'm always ready for anything and I believe I can hold it down wherever I find myself.

Special thanks to @sperosamuel15 , he told me about this place, and now I'm hooked.

I see this as a step to bigger things and also to improve myself. I hope to learn a lot here while interacting with you all, and contribute what I can while being an active member here.

Thanks for the welcome.
