Hello, it's three tunes day. C'mon, let's have a blast with this.

For the record, #ttt (Three Tunes Tuesday) is an ongoing initiative which is organised by @ablaze for all music lovers. Catch the full gist about that HERE.

Is it the world Beyonce Day? Haha. I dunno.

All I know is that this three-tunes day is going to be all about Beyonce. She obviously won't need an introduction because the lady has made a good name for herself in the industry and the songs she made 2 decades ago are still buzzing to this very moment.

Well, do you also know that she released an album in 2022? I genuinely didn't see that coming, but when it came, Renaissance turned out to be that album we never knew we needed. Hehe.

In this post, we will be highlighting 3 tunes from the album. Check them out;

1. ALIEN SUPERSTAR by Beyoncé

If you ever feel like you need a statement that will boost your confidence, remember that Beyonce said these;

I'm one of one
I'm number one
I'm the only one

Hah! Yeah! That's what you get at the opening lyrics of this song and that hits different once you put the whole picture into perspective. I mean, we are talking about Beyonce right here. She's allowed to blow her trumpet.

2. BREAK MY SOUL by Beyoncé.

There is something about the songs in this album. It almost feels like Beyonce was jumping from one genre to another. The song is so old school and I love it. Haha.

This particular jam always gives me the same vibe as K. Flay's 'High Enough'. Beyonce went all out on this one to spread the word about being resilient. It's the perfect song to have buzzing in your headphones while doing very depressing work. Haha.

3. CHURCH GIRL by Beyonce.

Oh, my! This song is a perfect 'tell me this is a clickbait without telling me it's a clickbait'. Haha. Firstly, you have the title of the song with puts some ideas in your head. Then, the first 35 seconds of the song gave a certain Sinach vibe. You would think, "Oh, Beyonce is taking us to church". Haha.

Just wait for it.

I mean, listen to the rest of the song. You will see exactly what I mean. Haha.

I genuinely can't let go of this Renaissance album. We will be highlighting more jamz from it in the next edition of Three Tunes Tuesday.

C'ya when we see each again.
