Yooo hello my fellow hivers and the entire hive community from all over the world. Back again with me Jodi Pamungkas on the food and snack recipe blog. Thank you for those of you who have supported and stopped by my previous post regarding durian pancake snacks, have you tried the recipe I gave? Did it work? Leave your photos and comments below this post. Well, today I will give you traditional food recipes from the Blora area, Central Java. This traditional food is sold in the traditional market of Blora city, I don't know exactly how the city is. This food is one of my favorite foods since childhood, now I will give a recipe on how to make traditional corn grontol food, see the recipe below.
The first thing you have to prepare is grated coconut, you can use 1 or 2 grated coconut, then prepare 1 or 2 corn depending on the number of corn grons you want to make. Then prepare some pandan leaves, then prepare salt and sugar, that's all and you don't need many ingredients to make food. Now let's go to the kitchen to boil the corn first.
The first thing you have to do is boil the corn that you have prepared, you can use corn like me or you can use shelled corn which is often used to make popcorn. Boil the corn using medium heat and wait for half an hour, after half an hour, the corn will be soft and easy to grate.
Well, you can see the photo above, boiled corn that is ready to be grated, let it sit for a while and let's move on to the next process, because this food requires a lot of cooking. Now let's first steam the grated coconut.
Prepare a container that is enough to put all the grated coconut, then tie 1 or 2 pandan leaves and place it in the middle of the grated coconut. Like boiling corn, use medium heat, steam grated coconut with pandan leaves for 20 minutes, after 20 minutes, the aroma of grated coconut will smell like pandan. Now let's grate the boiled corn using a knife.
Grate all the corn using a knife until there is nothing left, if you have grated all the corn, separate the corn that is still attached using a spoon, making sure all the corn is released and not sticky. So far, what do you think? Very easy isn't it? This traditional food is very interested by the people of Indonesia, in the city of Langsa there are also many people who sell this traditional food.
After the grated coconut has been steamed for 20 minutes, sprinkle the grated coconut on the grated corn, sprinkle the coconut as you wish, I suggest not to sprinkle too much grated coconut, because the taste of the corn will be covered with the coconut, now let's plating the food this traditional for the better.
Finally, the traditional food of Central Java, corn grontol, is finished and ready to be eaten for your family or friends. You can also add a little liquid brown sugar to make it sweeter. What do you think ? Very easy isn't it? You can make this traditional food anytime and anywhere, good luck for those of you who want to make this food. Thank you for reading and stopping at this post. Give your support and suggestions for me to be better and excited. See you in the next post of snacks and food recipes.
