Loquat is a rather sweet, fleshy, brown fruit. It contains a lot of vitamins and minerals. In my country (Venezuela) they can be harvested during most of the year, being more abundant its production in the summer. Being so tasty, the neighbors are always on the lookout for us to give you some.
The tree that bears the fruit can reach heights of over 20 metres, so I had to get as far away as possible to capture it in the photo. Being so large and lush, it is home to a large number of birds, which eat some of the bushes I have tried to plant: such as the pumkin. But I can use his shadow to protect others from the sun.
In order to get the medlars I sometimes have to juggle a bit, to get to the higher ones I have to use a straight ladder, but the result is worth it. I've always worn glasses to protect my eyes and a cap because the sap that comes out when you rip them off is like gum that sticks to your hair.
It wasn't the biggest, but it was considerable.
