Hola comunidad de HiveBlog, quiero compartir hoy con ustedes una de mis esculturas para una boda hecha en masa flexible, algunos ya sabrán que me dedico a la realizar diversas esculturas, así que quiero compartir con ustedes otra de mis piezas la cual fue hecha para un gran amigo que considero parte de mi familia ya que lo conozco desde hace 19 años y se va a casar!!
Hello HiveBlog community, I want to share with you today one of my sculptures for a wedding made in flexible dough, some of you may already know that I am dedicated to making various sculptures, so I want to share with you another of my pieces which was made for a great friend that I consider part of my family since I have known him for 19 years and he is getting married !!!

Materiales Usados // Materials Used
Masa Flexible o porcelana fria, acetato(para los lentes), bolitas de poliestireno(para las cabezas), herramientas para moldear, palillos de madera y pintura al frio (colores: rojo, plateado, blanco, piel, negro, marrón, naranja, amarillo, verde)
Cold porcelain, acetate (for the lenses), polystyrene balls (for the heads), molding and cutting tools, wooden stick and cold paint (colors: red, silver, white, nude, black, brown, orange, yellow, green).
PASOS // STEPS
Para empezar la escultura, el primer paso a realizar es un boceto para saber la proporción de la escultura, es decir alto y ancho del cuerpo y así continuar moldeando la pieza, primero realizo las extremidades del cuerpo para estar seguro con el tamaño y proporción del torso.
To start the sculpture, the first step is to make a sketch to know the proportion of the sculpture, that is (height and width) of the body and continue molding the piece, first I make the limbs of the body to be sure with the size and proportion of the torso.
Nota: La masa flexible es previamente pintada de acuerdo a la pieza que vas a realizar es un proceso sencillo y rápido yo uso pintura al frio o pintura acrílica (la segunda opción es de mayor calidad y ahorrativa)
Note: the cold porcelain is previously painted according to the piece you are going to make is a simple and fast process I use cold paint or acrylic paint (the second option is of higher quality and thrifty).
Cada parte del cuerpo realizada debe ser secada hasta que este completamente dura para que sea fácil de manipular y pegar junto a las otras piezas. Mientras esperas que se seque una pieza vas realizando otra, el secado dura entre 24h a 48h que alcanza su máxima dureza pero con las primeras 24h ya esta disponible para pegar con las demás piezas. Para los lentes use un pedacito de hoja de acetato, las bocas fueron cortadas suavemente con una hojilla.
Each part of the body must be dried until it is completely hard so that it is easy to manipulate and glue together with the other pieces. While you wait for one piece to dry you are making another one, the drying takes between 24h to 48h to reach its maximum hardness but with the first 24h it is already available to glue with the other pieces. For the lenses I used a small piece of acetate sheet, the mouths were gently cut with a blade.
Al día siguiente o cuando este secado se pegan las piezas y puedes ir agregando más detalles con la pintura al frio ya que te da un excelente cubrimiento para los detalles, para el cabello se colocan varias capaz de mechones hasta lograr el peinado deseado. Para unir la cabeza al torso uso un palillo de madera
The next day or when it is dry, the pieces are glued and you can add more details with the cold paint as it gives an excellent coverage for the details. For the hair, several locks are placed until the desired hairstyle is achieved. To attach the head to the torso I use a wooden stick.
Nota: a partir de ahora hay que ser 100% creativo para agregar más y más detalles a tu escultura hasta finalizar la pieza, no olvides que todo lo que imágenes lo puedes realizar!! Esta escultura demore 5 dias en realizarla mientras secaba hacia otras esculturas que me encargaron asi que no te preocupes al demorar solo esfuerzate al maximo
Note: from now on you have to be 100% creative to add more and more details to your sculpture until the piece is finished, don't forget that you can do anything you can imagine! This sculpture took me 5 days to make it while I was drying other sculptures that I was commissioned to make, so don't worry about the delay, just try your best!
