Saludos! Este es mi segundo día del Blogging Challenge Parte 2 y les cuento acerca de la mejor inversión que hecho.

Para muchos que estamos aquí la educación ha sido la mejor inversión que hemos hecho, para no caer en lugares comunes hablaré sobre una de las mejores inversiones que he hecho la cual me permitió seguir estudiando.

Muchos piensan que la crisis de Venezuela comenzó hace poco, realmente este país nunca ha estado en una situación favorable, lo que pasó fue que en un periodo de pocos años se agudizó a un 1000% o más. Desde pequeña mi papá me enseñó la importancia del ahorro, siempre fui de las niñas que no gastaba dinero en dulces sino que ahorraba en una alcancía las monedas y billetes que recibía de mis padres, asimismo siempre me gustó hacer manualidades y las vendía, con ello compraba por ejemplo un juguete que mis padres no podían darme. También pude abrir mi propia cuenta bancaria en el Banco de Venezuela, recuerdo muy bien cuando reuní todas las monedas de mi alcancía y mi mamá fue a crear mi cuenta bancaria, antes podían existir cuentas a nombre de menores y los padres lo manejaban.
Many think that the crisis in Venezuela began recently, this country has never really been in a favorable situation, what happened was that in a period of a few years it worsened to 1000% or more. Since I was little my dad taught me the importance of saving, I was always one of the girls who did not spend money on sweets but saved the coins and bills I received from my parents in a piggy bank, I also always liked to make crafts and sold them, with it I bought, for example, a toy that my parents couldn't give me. Mi papá como era muy mayor una de las cosas que temía era morir pronto y dejarnos a mi hermana y a mi desamparadas, por eso el compró dos casas además de la nuestra, obviamente no eran casa lujosas, eran unas casitas pequeñas ubicadas en diferentes partes de la ciudad, la idea era alquilarlas y también que estuvieran a nombre de mi hermana y de mi, pero las cosas no resultaron bien, siempre los inquilinos se tardaban muchos en los pagos y a veces ni querían desalojar las casas, el ultimo inquilino de una de ellas dejó destrozada todas las ventanas y las paredes manchadas, entre otras cosas. Mi papá decidió venderlas y colocar ese dinero en nuestras cuentas bancarias de menores.

My dad decided to sell them and put that money in our juvenile bank accounts.
El tiempo pasó y mi papá no se preocupó por hacer otra inversión con ese dinero porque estaba ahorrado en la cuenta, pero la situación se complicó, mi papá empezó a enfermar de demencia senil y la crisis del país se agudizó, cuando yo ingresé a estudiar en la universidad mi papá ya no podía ayudarme económicamente, cuando ingresé a esa universidad la matricula de estudiantes era tan grande que la distribución del horario de clase se ajustó haciendo uso de un programa de aprendizaje autoasistido a distancia, es decir en otras palabras, la mitad de clases las veíamos de manera presencial y la otra mitad la hacíamos de manera virtual.

Actualmente muchos sufren por las clases online debido a la pandemia, se imaginar vivir eso en el año 2007 cuando ni siquiera existían muchos cibercafé en mi ciudad y yo estudiaba en otra ciudad donde debía viajar a diario, yo llegaba a mi ciudad cuando los cibercafé estaban cerrados. Por eso cuando casi terminaba el primer semestre de la universidad decidí comprarme mi primera computadora, pero adivinen que? La crisis del país estaba tan fuerte que el dinero de la venta de la casa que estaba en mi cuenta apenas cubría el gasto de la computadora, en mi cuenta habían 2 millones de bolívares (del antiguo cono monetario) y el combo de computadora con todo incluido, es decir, impresora multifuncional, mesa, kid de audio y cámara, costaba 2400000 bolívares, por eso tuve que buscar la manera de conseguir los 400000 que me faltaban los cuales terminó dándome mi papá a pesar de su situación vulnerable.

Mi primera computadora fue mi salvación y la mejor inversión que he hecho. A pesar de no poder tener Internet en mi casa, por lo cual aun debía ir al cibercafé a enviar mis tareas, ya no gastaría el tiempo en esos lugares solo en la transcripción o haciendo diapositivas, inmediatamente coloqué un aviso en mi casa ofreciendo sacar fotocopias, hacer transcripciones y trabajos de investigación, quemar CDs, hacer diapositivas, entre otras cosas, llegaba en la noche a hacer mis trabajos y los de los clientes, lo fines de semana era igual, con ese dinero pude seguir estudiando gran parte de mi carrera.

Despite not being able to have Internet in my house, for which I still had to go to the cyber cafe to send my assignments, I would no longer spend time in those places only in the transcription or making slides, I immediately placed a notice in my house offering photocopies , make transcripts and research papers, burn CDs, make slides, among other things, I came at night to do my work and those of the clients, on weekends it was the same, with that money I could continue studying a large part of my career .
Aun mi computadora existe, con algunas mejoras de memoria y de sustitución de componentes con el tiempo, pero actualmente tengo problemas con el monitor, pero tiene casi 14 años conmigo, no me puedo quejar. Mi historia es un poco larga porque explico cómo obtuve el dinero para comprarla y como ese dinero se devaluó por la crisis que paso de ser una casa a una computadora. Esta historia me pone un poco emotiva, pero creo que una buena inversión puede mejorar las condiciones de vida de una persona a tal punto de permitirle alcanzar sus sueños.
my computer exists, with some memory improvements and component replacement over time, but I currently have problems with the monitor, but it has almost 14 years with me, I cannot complain. My story is a bit long because I explain how I got the money to buy it and how that money was devalued due to the crisis that went from being a house to a computer. This story makes me a bit emotional, but I believe that a good investment can improve a person's living conditions to the point of allowing them to achieve their dreams.
