La guardia es una playa que esta distante de mi hogar, y es una playa a la que las personas no va necesariamente a bañarse por ser de agua oscura, fria y de muchas olas, la motivación principal es la de ir a sacar o extraer guacuco o chichipi por encontrarse en cantidades infinitas en sus arenas.

Las familia normalmente aprovechan de ir un sábado o domingo muy temprano en la mañana para seleccionar el mejor puesto y donde exista un poco de sombre, porque esta es muy limitada, no hay muchos arboles altos, las personas se van preparadas para pasar el día en ese lugar, van equipados con alimentos ya preparados o de rápida preparación, también llevan refrescos y gran cantidad de agua. Para los niños alguna chucherias o golosinas.

La guardia esta cubierta prácticamente de piedras su superficie, es un poco incomodo caminar en ellas pero uno se acostumbra rápido, el sonido de las olas es mas fuerte en esta playa porque arrastra muchas piedras y el choque entre ellas aumenta el sonido.

Una vez establecidos en el lugar se comienza la planificacion de la jornada, las mujeres se adueñan de los cuchillos y tablas y empiezan a picar los aliños para el consomé de guacuco y otras comidas, también se puede preparan una merienda para el momento, los niños exploran el lugar y se meten en el mar, los hombre y algunas mujeres comienzan a sacar los guacucos y chipi chipis que va a llevar el consomé.

Aquí me despido, agradeciendo a Dios y la Virgen del Valle por pasar una tarde muy divertida y reunido en familia, para mi es muy importante la unión familiar, todos compartimos y nuestros hijos disfrutaron de la playa, se la pasaron buscado piedras y troncos secos para la pecera, sacamos medio saco de guacuco, la tarde se nos fue muy rápido, el grupo de pesca solo pescaron 3 peces pequeños. En general vivimos un día diferente y quedamos en planificar otra salida a otra playa muy pronto.
Espero verlos pronto con otra salida a la playa o montaña, o cualquier sitio turístico de margarita o Venezuela.
Here I say goodbye, thanking God and the Virgin of the Valley for spending a very fun afternoon together as a family, for me family unity is very important, we all shared and our children enjoyed the beach, they spent it looking for stones and dry logs for the fish tank, we took out half a sack of guacuco, the afternoon went very fast, the fishing group only caught 3 small fish. All in all we had a different day and we will plan another trip to another beach very soon.
