     Hello to all the community of Gems, today I bring you a very beautiful story, a story that marked the beginning of something much bigger than it seemed at the time.

     Hola a toda la comunidad de Gems, hoy les traigo una historia muy bonita, una historia que marcó el comienzo de algo mucho más grande de lo que en su momento pareció.

     It all started a year and a half ago, my girlfriend (@loivnouel) and I, we were just getting to know each other, and to get to know her a little more, I decided to invite her out, our plan was to eat some donuts in a new place that they opened in my town, since it had recently obtained a very good reputation, we wanted to go and try them out to see if all that fame was well deserved. Between talk and talk, and because there were no stuffed donuts, which was what we had planned to eat, we decided to make a change of plans, our new whim, some good ice creams.

     Todo comenzó hace año y medio, mi novia (@loivnouel) y yo, apenas nos estábamos conociendo, y para conocerla un poco más, decidí invitarla a salir, nuestro plan era comernos unas donas en un nuevo lugar que abrieron en mi pueblo, ya que este últimamente había obtenido muy buena fama, quisimos ir a probarlas a ver si toda esa fama, era bien merecida. Entre charla y charla, y, debido a que no habías donas rellenas, que era lo que teníamos planeado comer, decidimos hacer un cambio de planes, nuestro nuevo antojo, unos buenos helados.

     A little late, due to the rain that day, we arrived at an ice-cream parlor, also relatively new, where we sat down to chat while eating some delicious stuffed nacelles. It was very cool, we talked about many different topics, he told me about his family, his tastes, we got to know each other much better that day, I have always said that there is nothing like a good talk in person, and in moments like that, it confirmed it more. Definitely, a day I will never forget, so much time later, and his memory always comes with a smile on my face.

     Un poco retrasados, debido a la lluvia de ese día, llegamos a una heladería, también relativamente nueva, donde nos sentamos a charlar mientras nos comíamos unas ricas barquillas rellenas. Fue muy genial, hablamos sobre muchos temas diferentes, me habló de su familia, de sus gustos, nos conocimos mucho más ese día, yo siempre he dicho que nada como una buena charla en persona, y en momentos como ese, lo confirmaba más. Definitivamente, un día que nunca olvidaré, tanto tiempo después, y su recuerdo siempre viene con una sonrisa en mi rostro.

     A few days later, one or two weeks later, Avengers: End Game was released in cinemas, and as a good fan of the saga, I was determined to see it in the cinema, so I thought of inviting her to watch it with me. The day of the movie arrived, we were in a group of 5 people, my brother and his wife, a friend, she and I, during the trip to the cinema (about an hour), my friend and I took care of soaking her a little (maybe too much) of the plot of the saga, because, although she had seen one movie or another, there were many details that she ignored, and that were necessary to see the movie.

     Días después, una o dos semanas después, se estrenaba en cines Avengers: End Game, y como buen fan de la saga, estaba decidido en verla en el cine, así que se me ocurrió invitarla a verla conmigo. Llegó el día de la película, andábamos en un grupo de 5 personas, mi hermano y su esposa, un amigo, ella y yo, durante el trayecto al cine (alrededor de una hora), mi amigo y yo nos encargamos de empaparla un poco (quizá demasiado) de la trama de la saga, ya que, aunque ella había visto una que otra película, había muchos detalles que ella ignoraba, y que eran necesarios para ver la película.

     When we arrived at the cinema we found what we had already imagined, a huge queue, the film was only days old, so there were many people going to see it. In total there was a wait of almost 6 hours to see the movie, which, although it was a long wait, went relatively fast, since we walked around the mall a couple of times, ate and talked a lot.

     Al llegar al cine nos topamos con lo que ya nos imaginábamos, una cola inmensa, la película tenía solo días de haberse estrenado, así que había mucha gente yéndola a ver. En total fueron casi 6 horas de espera para ver la película, que, aunque fue larga la espera, se fue relativamente rápido, ya que paseamos por todo el centro comercial un par de veces, comimos y conversamos muchísimo.

     I had been excited to see that movie for months, but my best memory of that day was undoubtedly taken by the company I had that day. It lasted 5 hours in a queue, then another hour waiting for the last show of the night, and on top of that, on the way back, we were stopped by some traffic guards to check the vehicle, something unusual and that made us delay more than we were already, it is not very usual in a date, especially when we were just getting to know each other, but I had a wonderful time, and it is a nice memory that will stay with us for a long time.

     Yo llevaba meses emocionado por ver esa película, pero mi mejor recuerdo de ese día sin duda alguna se lo lleva la compañía que tuve ese día. Durar 5 horas en una cola, luego otra hora más esperando la última función de la noche, y que, de paso, para colmo, en el camino de regreso, nos pararon unas guardias de tránsito para hacerle revisión al vehículo, algo poco habitual y que nos hizo retrasarnos más de lo que ya estábamos, no es muy habitual en una cita, sobre todo cuando apenas nos estábamos conociendo, pero la pasé de maravilla, y es un lindo recuerdo que nos quedará por mucho tiempo.

     I always wanted to go to the movies with my girlfriend, and even though we weren't yet, you could say that I went with my future girlfriend. That day marked the beginning of something that at the time seemed distant, and although it took me a while to conquer her, I'm sure we'll go again, but now, as a couple, and we'll go around that whole mall, we'll eat and talk again, but this time... holding hands.

     Siempre quise ir al cine con mi novia, y aunque ese día aun no lo éramos, se podría decir que fui con mi futura novia. Ese día marcó el inicio de algo que en aquel momento se veía distante, y aunque tardé un poco en conquistarla, estoy seguro de que volveremos a ir, pero ahora, como novios, y nos vamos a recorrer todo ese centro comercial, comeremos y charlaremos de nuevo, pero esta vez… Agarrados de la mano.
