[ESP-ENG] Bullying: Mi imperfecto cuerpo perfecto/ My imperfect perfect body

Before criticizing, get to know and before giving your opinion, get informed; never talk just for the sake of talking. Remember that the way you express yourself speaks more about you than how you express yourself about someone else.

I took these pictures thinking about a wardrobe proposal for a song I was going to present.

Yes, I have stretch marks but they are my war marks of adolescence. I don't know anyone without a flaw, but one thing I love is the asymmetrical and out of the ordinary, the weird. I never considered myself a beauty and here's why.

This post is different, because I come to share a story with you: my bullying story.

When I say I'm the daughter of big foot, I don't say it just because of the bullying, but because I've always been part of the hairy clan. Something that as a result of cruel comments at school, was an important part of a big trauma. From the third year of elementary school, I began to anticipate the changes of puberty, among them the red ritual. This gave me acne before my time, stain accidents on my clothes, and adding braces, stretch marks due to growth, made me a target of ridicule. Add to this that I always liked things that at that time were always considered for boys, like fighting video games or certain anime series like Dragon Ball or Captain Tsubasa.

And not just a few boys, it was my whole classroom; which didn't change until the end of my six years.

But it wasn't until I reached high school that life taught me another lesson: not everyone is like that.

To my misfortune, a boy from elementary school ended up in the same classroom as me at another school. And he made the following comment to two boys who made conversation with me, with the same eagerness to continue what happened in the past years: they shouldn't talk to her, that girl looks like a boy, she only likes Dragon Ball and video games.

The next answer left me frozen, as the boys responded as if nothing "and what does she have?".

The fellow walked away without saying anything anymore.

After that event, I slowly began to notice that it wasn't all bad, that I wasn't indifferent to the teenage male gender and more details. I think that helped a long time that I myself underestimated my voice or my talent.

Even though it's many, many years old now, that Voldemort of physical insecurity still attacks me, especially now that I'm already at my average weight and not as skinny as I used to be. So, if you see that I don't catch a compliment, a compliment or a compliment, it's not because I'm ungrateful, it's my mind that still goes as far as blocking everything out by saying "it's not true".

At some point in my 20's, I decided to pose semi naked, but between cyber bullying and that demon of ugliness, I got rid of those pictures, otherwise I would be on Onlyfans ha, ha.

That's all for today.

Did you know this dark tale from my past, did something like this happen to you?

If you were someone like me, let me remind you how cool you are, you don't need to throw it in anyone's face that you're better. I tell you from my heart: those of us in this COLMENA, we are worth more because we are better people.

/If you made it this far, thanks for reading a little bit about what I am.
