Earlier today, I made this wildlife drawing of a Penguin walking in a pool of water. Penguins are large flightless birds that are mostly found in cold regions in the world. They also vary in species but all have the same diet and colour of skin (black, white and orange). They are also incredible swimmers and feed of fishes.
I made this drawing using a black ball point pen and pelican paper.
Here are the steps involved;
Firstly, I began by drawing the outline of the penguin walking on the pool of water. I also drew out all it's features here.
Next, I shaded all the dark parts of it's body.
Finally, I added tones and details of to it's body for a more realistic drawing. I did this until I got a satisfactory result.
