Greetings friends of this prestigious #hive platform, I am pleased to write a brief review about my experience singing under the direction of Maestro Edmundo Centeno @edmundocentenor.
17 Years ago I met in a prestigious "Gomez Cardiel" Music School, located in the city of Cumaná, Venezuela, a great Classical Guitar Master, the teacher and great friend @ danieldedosd2.

Together with another great friend from the high school, we approached the school in search of information to play piano and see Musical language classes, but as a thing of fate, @ danieldedosd2 attended us. He very kindly asked us at that time if he wanted to learn to play guitar, and he showed us an example of Beethoven's work for Elisa on classical guitar.
From that moment I was amazed at his gift, and from that day until today I owe him all my training as a classical guitar player.
The School of Music Gomez Cardiel was under the direction of Maestro Edmundo Centeno @edmundocentenor, whose gift for singing was noticeably perceived several blocks before arriving at school, since when Professor Edmundo Centeno Vocalized in one of the school's classrooms, his voice echoed in several stables. A whole phenomenon of the voice. I had the privilege of hearing that power of voice from many meters away.
Luego de aquel momento cuando pise por primera vez la escuela, llevaba tres años viendo clases con el Prof. Daniel Centeno, en ese lapso de tiempo conoci en el liceo a Diana escalona @dianakyv.

Desde ese momento quedamos asombrado con el gran talento y trabajo que el profesor Edmundo Centeno venia desarrollando. Aquel coro parecía un coro de ángeles, todo perfectamente sincronizado y bien matizado. Desde Entonces nos atrapo la magia del canto lírico.
From that moment we were amazed by the great talent and work that Professor Edmundo Centeno had been developing. That choir seemed like a choir of angels, everything perfectly timed and well nuanced. Since then we are caught by the magic of lyrical singing.
AÑOS POSTERIORES
Luego de aquella gran impresión y asombro de tan majestuosa coral, ingresamos al Coro Lírico del Teatro Luis Mariano Rivera bajo la conduccion del prof. Edmundo Centeno.
After that great impression and amazement of such a majestic choir, we entered the Lyrical Choir of the Luis Mariano Rivera Theater under the leadership of prof. Edmundo Centeno.

Era tanta la pasión y el amor que el prof. Edmundo tenia por su trabajo en la coral; hizo que se ganara la admiración y respeto de cada integrante del Coro. Sus técnicas y consejos ayudaron a muchos a desarrollarse en el ámbito del canto , como gran pianista que también es, desarrollo otras técnicas que ayudaron a los nuevos integrantes que querían aprender a cantar a desarrollar ese don.
The passion and love was so great that prof. Edmundo had for his work in the choir; He earned the admiration and respect of each member of the Choir. His techniques and advice helped many to develop in the field of singing, as a great pianist that he is also, he developed other techniques that helped new members who wanted to learn to sing to develop that gift.
Bajo su dirección aprendí aun mas lo que es la responsabilidad sobre lo que estamos haciendo y el empeño que debemos poner para desarrollar bien un proyecto.
Under his direction, I learned even more what responsibility is about what we are doing and the effort we must put into developing a project well.
Sus trabajos de montar obras fueron muchas, entre lo que puedo destacar : la Sinfonía numero 9 de Beethoven, Conciertos líricos, navidad entre amigos y la Sinfonía n.º 8 (Mahler) el cual se desarrollo en la ciudad de caracas bajo la dirección del Maestro Gustavo Dudamel.

Cada vez que se acercaba una de las épocas mas apreciada por los venezolanos "Diciembre", el prof. Edmundo , encendia los motores 3 meses antes para montar grandes obras para el deleite de los cumaneses. Obras que a medidas que pasaban los días, la íbamos disfrutando, porque todo se hacia con cariño esfuerzo y amor.
Every time one of the times most appreciated by Venezuelans "December" approached, prof. Edmundo, started the engines 3 months before to mount great works to the delight of the Kumans. Works that as the days passed, we were enjoying it, because everything was done with care, effort and love.
DICIEMBRE, empezaba el montaje de los vestuarios, adornos y una preparación mas rígida por parte del profesor, ya que le gustaba que todo saliera excelente para poder destacar en la época de sembrina.

Another of the greatest moments and works that were mounted under the direction of Maestro Edmundo Centeno was Symphony No. 8 (Mahler). This montage was one of the most demanding works since it required a lot of vocal technique, patience and perseverance.
But Thanks to the great preparation that Maestro Edmundo possesses, he was able to teach the entire choir in an extraordinary way, string by string. a job worth doing
MAHLER - CIUDAD DE CARACAS

All the effort made, months of work, was worth it. The great development and skill of Professor Edmundo Centeno, resulted from having been in one of the most important concerts ever held in Venezuela. More than a thousand voices on stage, with the participation of all the states of Venezuela, all concentrated in the Teresa Carreño Theater, under the leadership of Maestro Gustavo Dudamel in the company of Maestro Abreu.
