Espero se encuentren muy pero muy bien, hoy paso por acá para comentarles que al fin me coloque la primera dosis de la vacuna, para inmunizarme contra está terrible enfermedad que se ha metido entre nosotros, el COVID-19.
I hope you are very, very well, today I am passing by to tell you that I finally got the first dose of the vaccine, to immunize me against this terrible disease that has gotten among us, the COVID-19.
El proceso de inmunizacion en Venezuela, lo hacen por medio del ministerio de salud, dónde por medio de un mensaje de texto te indican el día y el lugar al que debes asistir para colocarte la vacuna, aquí las jornadas empezaron con el personal de salud, luego incluyeron a los maestros y las personas de la tercera edad, y luego con los demás.
The immunization process in Venezuela, is done through the Ministry of Health, where through a text message they tell you the day and place where you must go to get the vaccine, here the days began with health personnel, then included teachers and the elderly, and then with others.
En mi familia yo era la única que faltaba por vacunarme, ya que no me llegaba el mensaje de texto, a pesar de estarme registrando a menudo para que me llegará la notificación. Pero el 1 de este mes me llegó en mensaje de texto, indicando la hora y el lugar al que debía asistir, ese mismo día le llegó el mensaje de texto a mi novio, es decir estábamos los los citados para la misma fecha y el mismo lugar, para mí fue genial que nos tocará a los dos el mismo día porque yo le tengo terror a las inyecciones.

Hoy me levanté con los nervios a mil, en la mañana solo tome café, solo quería que pasara rápido el tiempo, cuando llegamos al hospital, habían varias personas esperando para ponerse la vacuna. Llegamos a las 7:30 AM y es a las 9:00 AM cuando empezarían a vacunar, en el transcurso del tiempo, se me revolvió la barriga de la ansiedad, yo no sé ¿porque le tengo tanto terror a las inyecciones?

Cuando ya se acercaba la hora a las 9:00, empezaron a pasar a los de la tercera edad primero y Lugo llegó el turno de los más jóvenes. Cuando nos llamaron al entrar te toman tus datos y llenan una tarjetita dónde colocan el nombre de la vacuna y el número del lote, la vacuna que nos pusimos fue la SINOPHARM.
>When it was getting close to 9:00, they started to pass the senior citizens first and then it was the turn of the younger ones. When they called us in, they took your information and filled out a little card where they put the name of the vaccine and the lot number, the vaccine we got was the SINOPHARM.
Para mí suerte me tocó una enfermera súper, con mucha paciencia y una manos benditas por Dios, porque no sentí dolor con la inyección, solo un pinchacito leve, ella me recomendó no hacer mucho esfuerzo, no consumir alcohol por unos días, y si llegaba a sentir algún malestar que podía tomar solo acetaminofén. Hasta el momento no me he sentido ningún tipo de malestar, a esta hora 1:31 pm siento un poquito de incomodidad el brazo al levantarlo, pero solo eso.
>Luckily for me I had a super nurse, with a lot of patience and hands blessed by God, because I did not feel any pain with the injection, just a slight prick, she recommended me not to make much effort, not to drink alcohol for a few days, and if I felt any discomfort I could only take acetaminophen. So far I have not felt any discomfort, at this time 1:31 pm I feel a little discomfort in my arm when I lift it, but only that.
La próxima dosis nos toca el 29 de este mes. Mi recomendación es que todo el que tenga la posibilidad de vacunarse lo haga, está enfermedad es invisible y no respeta a nadie, mejor vacunarse por si nos llegamos a contagiar con COVID-19 tener nuestro organismo preparado y no nos afecte tanto. "Es mejor prevenir que lamentar" es un dicho muy sabio de mi abuela Teresa 🙂
