Al llegar a la mitad de la carrera de Medicina, se imparten 4 clínicas principales: Cirugía, Medicina Interna, Pediatría y Ginecología y Obstetricia. El día de hoy quisiera compartir con ustedes como ha sido mi experiencia, que es lo que me gusta y que no, en cada una de ellas.

Upon reaching the middle of the Medicine career, 4 main clinics are taught: Surgery, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics and Gynecology and Obstetrics. Today I would like to share with you how my experience has been, what I like and what I don't like about each one of them.

1. Pediatría.

Es mi clínica preferida; tanto Neonatología como Pediatría como tal. Al momento de hacer potgrado, me encantaría hacerla en esa área. Me gusta mucho la parte clínica, y me gusta mucho trabajar con los niños más que con los adultos; por eso me desenvuelvo muy bien en esta clínica.

It is my favorite clinic; both in Neonatology and in Pediatrics as such. When it comes to doing graduate school, I would love to do it in that area. I really like the clinical part and I like working with children much more than with adults; That is why I get along very well at this clinic.

2. Medicina Interna.

Es una clínica que también me gusta, me gustan los temas que se incluyen aquí, así que me va relativamente bien. Para mi, Pediatría y Medicina interna se relacionan mucho; porque ambas son especialidades clínicas y no engloban tanto el área quirúrgica; solo lo diferencia el grupo etario, una está dirigida a los adultos y otra solo a niños.

It is a clinic that I also like, I like the topics that are included here, so I do relatively well. For me, pediatrics and internal medicine are closely related; because both are clinical specialties and do not include both the surgical area; It only differs by age group, one is aimed at adults and another only at children

3. Ginecología y Obstetricia.

Es una clínica muy bonita, para mí es la más satisfactoria, porque con ella tienes la oportunidad de ayudar a traer vidas, y es la clínica donde más se trabaja. Aún recuerdo perfectamente cuando atendí mi primer parto, lo feliz que estaba y la emoción tan grande que sentí.

It is a very beautiful clinic, for me it is the most satisfactory, because with it you have the opportunity to help bring lives, and it is the clinic where you work the most. I still remember perfectly when I attended my first birth, how happy I was and how excited I was.

4. Cirugía.

También es una clínica muy bonita, a la mayoría de las personas que estudian Medicina tienden a inclinarse más por esta área; en lo personal, a mi no me gusta mucho ya que no se me da muy bien el área quirúrgica; más sin embargo siempre trato de dar lo mejor de mi para mis pacientes.

It is also a very nice clinic, most of the people who study Medicine tend to lean more towards this area; Personally, I don't like it very much because I am not very good in the surgical area; however, I always try to do my best for my patients.
