Today we visited one of the most beautiful libraries ever.
The simplest definition of a library that I could think of might me:
It's a place that houses and lends books to its members. But in this age of digital information, e-books, audio listening, and the internet has changed the whole thing, so is there still a reason to go to the library?
The answer is YES I think. It is more than just the place where books live, libraries are an integral part of any community. They provide information, resources and a connection to the millions of themes, knowledge and so so much more. Librarians are highly-trained professionals who can offer guidance to students, job-seekers and others conducting research on almost any topic imaginable.
I can list just a few of the reasons you should support and go to your local library like we did:
- Free joining.
In most libraries you dont have to pay anything to jlin, or to take books. Up to 5 like it is here, for two weeks, yet being able to keep them for a longer time if needed.
- You can get really rare books there. Sometimes libraries are the only place where you can find these book gems that you can not anywhere else
- Libraries also have community events, book and poetry readings. I myself have had multiple exhibitions of my works in libraries, and the atmosphere is super nice and friendly
