Diaries of a Fluffy Rican: 1937 Terraplane Coupe~ An adventure relived

The 1937 Terraplane Coupe was really fun to walk around and look at. Just another treasure that can be found at the Gateway Auto Museum in Gateway Colorado.

The one thing that surprise me as I walk along these pieces of history, was the size of these cars. As I stood next to this car, I could sense how solid it was built.

I considered what each car had to weight, and the power needed to move them.

This particular car was designed to be lighter, and with the same horse power as it's predecessors.

You can read more about it in the image of the vehicle's description, towards the end if this post.

Yet the craftsmanship and love put into each of the cars in this collection is inspiring.

I found myself yearning for the return of that quality of work. It could just be my perspective, but I think that it's kinda rare today

I've looked at newer cars that seemed to be solid, yet upon closer inspection. They were made it plastic.

They give the appearance of sturdiness, yet I wouldn't dare lean on their bumper. God forbid I dented a fender, or broke a piece of plastic. It could cost me hundreds.

I've been able to keep reliving my adventure to Gateway through the creation of these post. I hope you've enjoyed the experience, as much as I have reliving it.

I think you'd be surprised to see the car that I have the fondest memories of. If your interested you can find out more in the post linked below.
