My photos today feature an adorable baby bunny that fell asleep in my daughter's lap. I'll also be showing some digital edits that I did on them.
This little bunny's breed is known as an American Chinchilla. It is considered a rare breed of rabbit that got its name from the rodent chinchilla because of its fur. Rabbits are not part of the rodent species but are known as Lagamorphs.
I know! The little bunny almost looks like a toy laying there asleep!
They are a gentle breed that can grow to twelve pounds. My daughter brought this one in to visit with me and he fell asleep on her lap.
This last photo should put your mind at ease that he was indeed just napping. He (or she) is also shown here licking her thumb and not nibbling. The visit was short but full of fluffy cuteness and I'll share some other sleepy photos from the visit in a future post. 😉
Thank you @old-guy-photos for #monochromemonday!
