What's Buzzing friends ?
The Need for Simplicity. Why do people often feel the need to impress their friends? More often than not, we try to impress them by having the nicer car, the nicer house, or the nicer clothes. But, what does that really say about us? Aren't we just showing everyone that we're trying to prove our worth? And, isn't that the opposite of what our friends actually care about? Let's be honest: your friends don't care about your car and your house nearly as much as you do. Instead, they care about who you are and your personality.
We think living your life simply is one of the best things you can do for yourself, I mean how much stuff do we need to own anyway? We can't take it with us, it's just sitting in a closet or this massive storage unit collecting dust. There is always something good in your life.

@shikika,or as she is called "Ria", comes from the Philippines and joined us in June of 2017 (4 years, WOW!). This veteran of the decentralized web fills our newsfeed with images and stories of life in the Philippines daily.
Be it if she sharing photos of a delicious meal, amazing colorful flowers of nature, stories of outings, birthday parties, or feelings of gloom on a cloudy day... She is always bringing sunshine energy to her online presence, and helpling us smile.
You know we look beyond just what people post. If you check out the comments that she leaves, they are always positive and uplifting, and she's very responsive any inquiries from people. #awesome.
It's for all these reasons and others that we wanted to nominate @shikika as our community highlight today. :D
