Special Delivery

Let’s take a journey back in time, back to 1927. If you needed something delivered quickly, there was a small fee for that. A fee denominated in a 20 cent stamp (or more, depending on the weight of the package). This stamp was issued in commemoration of the 60th anniversary of Canada’s confederation.
The second 10 cent stamp was issued in 1938. This is the “Memorial Chamber”, located inside the Canadian Parliament’s Peace tower. A national shrine to those who lost their lives during past wars.
The third 10 cent stamp was released in 1942. The Canadian Parliament buildings. If you look closer at the top portion of the stamp, there is a Union Jack and maple leaf sort of combined. Symbolizing the strong relationship between Canada and Great Britain. Which is your favourite stamp?
