Hoy día, todo el mundo vive una situacion tan atípica con este virus que de más esta decirles sobre que se trata y cuales son las medidas preventivas para evitar el contagio. En estas líneas vine a contarles como mi vida cambio en un segundo por el covid-19, ese que para mi asombro muchos lo tildan de una mentira creada para manipular a su antojo a las masas, y es que he escuchado tantos comentarios en las calles y he visto como no se respeta el distanciamiento social, el uso del tapaboca, la aglomeración de personas en transporte publico y otro montón de hechos irresponsables por parte de las personas que quizás sin saberlo son portadores del virus y andan a diestra y siniestra contagiando a los mas vulnerables.

Allí en ese grupo estuvo mi mamá, una persona de la tercera edad, sufriendo de diabetes tipo 2 con un resfriado común (eso fue lo que pensamos), que no mejoraba con jarabes, té, antialérgicos, y cuanto remedio casero se toma en estos casos, después de cinco días de esto decidimos asistir al neumólogo, que con su mal diagnostico llega a la conclusión que padece de una faringitis muy fuerte y receta medicinas para ello, mientras veíamos como día a día su estado iba empeorando.

Como creo que es normal en estos casos empezamos a sospechar que podría existir la posibilidad de que se tratara del maléfico virus (siempre con la esperanza de que no) por el ascenso de casos que según cifras oficiales habían en el país (Venezuela por cierto) que por la proximidad con Brasil era increíblemente alta. (sepa brasilera P1 y P2).

in that group was my mother, an elderly person, suffering from type 2 diabetes with a common cold (that was what we thought), which did not improve with syrups, tea, anti-allergic, and how much home remedy is taken in these cases, after five days of this we decided to attend the pulmonologist, who with his misdiagnosis comes to the conclusion that she suffers from a very strong pharyngitis and prescribes medication for it, while we saw how day by day her condition was worsening.

As I think it is normal in these cases we began to suspect that there might be a possibility that it was the evil virus (always hoping that not) by the rise of cases that according to official figures had in the country (Venezuela by the way) that due to the proximity to Brazil was incredibly high (know Brazilian P1 and P2).

Para no hacer el cuento largo a mi mamita le hicieron una prueba rápida que dio como resultado NEGATIVO y un RX que no mostraba un compromiso grave de sus pulmones, como ultimo recursos análisis de laboratorio especiales y debido a eso hubo que esperar cinco días mas por el resultado, fue en ese momento que se comprobó nuestras sospechas POSITIVO PARA COVID-19 y un deterioro considerable en ella, hasta el punto de suministrar oxigeno en casa, lo que es una odisea para conseguir en un país en crisis en donde los codiciosos se aprovechan de la necesidad y los hospitales se encuentran sin insumos.

To make a long story short, my mom had a rapid test that gave a NEGATIVE result and an X-ray that did not show a serious compromise of her lungs, as a last resort special laboratory analysis and because of that we had to wait five more days for the result, It was at that moment that our suspicions were proven POSITIVE FOR COVID-19 and a considerable deterioration in her, to the point of supplying oxygen at home, which is an odyssey to get in a country in crisis where the greedy take advantage of the need and hospitals are without supplies.

Veinticuatro horas después mi familia se reunió para la toma de decisión más difícil de nuestras vidas, llevarla al hospital era necesario y así lo hicimos, otra odisea para el traslado, una vez mas aparecieron los inescrupulosos, sin embargo siempre hay ángeles que se presentan en nuestro camino y sin pensarlo nos presto su vehículo para llevarla.

Llegamos al hospital muy esperanzados, tuvo atención medica las 24 horas y gracias a nuestra familia, amigos y conocidos nunca le falto una medicina, sin embargo ella debido a sus patologías no respondió al tratamiento y su diagnostico no fue muy favorable. Seis días después a las 12:40 am aproximadamente, aquella noticia llego, la que nunca quieres escuchar. Mi mamita había partido, ya no sufría y estaba con dios y sus seres queridos. Una dura realidad llego y no sabes como enfrentarla, verla entrar por aquella puerta y no verla mas físicamente es indescriptible, sin embargo nuestras vidas están llenas de recuerdos maravillosos y momento preciosos que harán que viva por siempre.

Twenty-four hours later my family gathered for the most difficult decision of our lives, to take her to the hospital was necessary and so we did, another odyssey for the transfer, once again the unscrupulous appeared, however there are always angels that appear in our way and without thinking we borrowed his vehicle to take her.

We arrived at the hospital very hopeful, she had medical attention 24 hours a day and thanks to our family, friends and acquaintances she never lacked medicine, however due to her pathologies she did not respond to the treatment and her diagnosis was not very favorable. Six days later at approximately 12:40 am, that news came, the news you never want to hear. My mommy had left, she was no longer suffering and was with God and her loved ones. A hard reality came and you don't know how to face it, to see her walk through that door and not see her physically anymore is indescribable, however our lives are full of wonderful memories and precious moments that will make her live forever.

Y a todo aquel que llego a este punto de la lectura recuerde que cualquier síntoma es covid-19 antes que se demuestre lo contrario y mientras el la tv aparecen 17 fallecidos por día en toda una nación yo en un solo hospital vi mas de 8 en un día.

to everyone who has reached this point in the reading remember that any symptom is covid-19 before it is proven otherwise and while the TV shows 17 deaths per day in a whole nation I saw more than 8 in a single hospital in one day.
