¡Qué dice la gente de Hive! ¿Cómo se encuentran? Espero estén contentos, productivos y saludables 😌. Recientemente @elpausero prendió la mecha con la iniciativa #Rules4Voting destinada a esclarecer los criterios de curación y creación de contenido que tenemos cada uno dentro de la plataforma, esto con el objetivo de mejorar nuestros criterios como comunidad en Hive. Pueden leer más respecto a esta iniciativa ingresando aquí. Sin más que decir (porque este post estará un poco largo😅) ¡Vamo’ a darle! 🔥
Mis criterios como curadora
Mayormente curo contenido referente a ramas artísticas y valoro publicaciones hechas en buena calidad ¿Qué quiero decir con esto? Publicaciones con contenido de valor, que mantienen una estética pulcra y fueron escritas con buena ortografía y gramática. Cuando una publicación cumple con estos puntos básicos se aprecia fácilmente que el autor se esmeró en ella. Fijándome en estos puntos determino si un post es de calidad.
De manera más específica valoro:
- 📝Artículos que proporcionan contenido de valor, trabajos originales y difusión de información relevante sobre otras personas.
- 👥 Publicaciones que abren el debate o incitan a la interacción entre la comunidad.
- 🎯 Publicaciones precisas que van al grano. No me parece que un artículo deba ser excesivamente largo para ser bueno, lo importante es que logre retentiva y transmita un mensaje.
- 🎧 Música con una buena producción musical, así como también los que tengan un mínimo de calidad de audio pero una buena ejecución en la pieza que interpretan.
- 🎬 Reseñas sobre películas, series o música que tengan profundidad de análisis, mejor aún si es sobre contenido artístico independiente ya que abre un espacio de difusión para artistas poco conocidos, por lo cual la rama de las reseñas es algo que apoyo bastante a pesar de no ser contenido 100% original.
- 📸 Fotografías que sean creativas, tengan buena calidad y cuyo post contenga el proceso creativo o el significado detrás de la obra, es decir, que no sea únicamente una foto bonita y tres líneas de texto. De igual manera esto aplica para los diseñadores e ilustradores, donde además de un buen acabado es importante el contexto de lo que representan.
Ya que en Hive hay artistas muy buenos y su arte merece reconocimiento, valoro toda obra cuyo resultado refleja estar hecho por personas conocedoras del tema, quienes probablemente lleven años dedicados a su oficio. Comprendo a su vez que hay principiantes en diversas áreas, mi apoyo a estas personas es principalmente darles fuentes que pueden ser útiles para mejorar en lo que están aprendiendo 😉. Cuentan con mi voto siempre y cuando muestren estos trabajos como un proceso de aprendizaje y no como profesionales en el área. La honestidad es fundamental, ver como alguien mejora y crece también es algo bonito que merece ser reconocido una vez los resultados empiecen a ser buenos ✅
En cuanto al porcentaje, decido votar generalmente entre el 100% al 50%, dependiendo de cómo sean las publicaciones con las que me cruce. Los votos que doy al 100% son los que cumplen con mis estándares de calidad, pero hay muchos otros post que voto en menor porcentaje, esto ocurre cuando:
- 😵 Un artículo tiene buen contenido pero la estética no es pulcra y organizada, por lo tanto me resulta incómodo de leer
- ✂️ No posee subtítulos para organizar la información y segmentar en partes el post
- 🖼 Un post está muy cargado de imágenes que están mal distribuidas
- 🤓 El contenido en principio me parece llamativo pero la redacción que utiliza resulta divagante o con muchos tecnicismos
- 🎤 El contenido musical no posee un audio legible o cuyo video no tiene buena presentación. Por ejemplo, un cover grabado en una habitación desordenada, en el que la interpretación no se entiende a causa de una mala calidad de audio, no obtiene mi 100%. Por otro lado, si el audio no fue hecho con micrófonos, pero a pesar de esto se comprende el sonido, la ejecución del músico es excelente y además fue grabado en un espacio bonito, como un parque o una habitación acomodada, eso sí lo valoro con el 100% de mi voto.
Se podría decir que dentro de la subjetividad de mis gustos siempre mantengo el criterio de calidad, sea en un área o en otra. Considero importante apoyar a autores que siempre mantengan un nivel de calidad en sus publicaciones aunque estos no publiquen todas las semanas. Como curadora opto por valorar más la calidad que la cantidad 💯
Mis criterios como creadora de contenido
Debido a que soy nueva en HIVE (Esta es mi primera semana) voy a dar mis respuestas a esta sección basada en mi experiencia en Steemit, pues aunque es una plataforma diferente considero que algunas de mis anécdotas podrían ser útiles, debido a que estuve activa allí durante casi dos años. ¡Comencemos! 🙌
La primera vez que uno de mis post fue valorado me emocioné como cualquier persona, pero lo que realmente me motivo fue empezar a ganar concursos de manera constante, ya que además de tener una retribución en premios me quedó algo mucho más valioso: Confianza. Gracias a mi participación en concursos como el Steemit Vision Quest (organizado por @cabelindsay) logré perder el miedo a mostrar mis creaciones, fotografías, videos y escritos. Empecé a interactuar con una comunidad anglosajona muy cordial y gracias a la interacción con ellos gané mucha más confianza como creadora. A su vez muchos de mis compañeros de la universidad empezaron a ver mis publicaciones en la plataforma y en persona me comentaban que les gustaba lo que hacía. Al final esta era una de mis mayores motivaciones, el apoyo de la gente 😊.
Puede resultar obvio que quienes estamos acá buscamos recompensas monetarias, pero por mi parte disfruto mucho que haya interacción, ver la caja de comentarios y saber que hay personas que leen mi contenido y tienen algo que aportar es algo que disfruto 🌈.

Como creadora busco que al leerme sientan que están hablando conmigo y no leyendo un paper analítico y tedioso 🤷🏻♀️, es por ello que busco ser un poco elocuente en mi manera de expresarme y utilizo emoticones en mis publicaciones, pues aunque no se vean “serios” me parece que ayudan a transmitir mejor mi esencia en el post 😌. También traduzco mi contenido al inglés e intento que no exceda un tiempo de 10 minutos de lectura, para no acaparar mucho el tiempo de las demás personas.
Por otro lado, nunca he hecho mi contenido en base a un curador en específico🤔, las veces en que me amoldo a ciertos parámetros es si estoy participando en un concurso y por ende sigo las reglas del mismo, pero en líneas generales nunca escribo pensando en los curadores, me gusta escribir acerca de mis obras y sobre temas que son de mi interés 🤗, como las áreas de música y audiovisuales. Intento hacer las cosas bien no por los curadores o el dinero, sino porque no podría perdonarme hacer un post feo o que considere mediocre 😰, simplemente me daría grima y vergüenza subir algo que ni a mi misma me convenza 🤷🏻♀️. Hay que tener presente que en la blockchain nada se borra, así que debemos procurar hacer todo lo mejor posible 💪
Aunque soy nueva en HIVE comprendo la importancia de hacer vida en la comunidad, comentar las publicaciones de otros puede realmente motivarles a seguir creando y mejorar su contenido, así como ocurrió conmigo 🌈. Además de esto es fundamental apoyarnos unos a otros, lo cual no significa votar el contenido de mi amigo así esté mal hecho 🤷🏻♀️, al contrario, una de las maneras de ayudarnos es compartiendo conocimientos, herramientas y difundiendo entre nosotros el contenido de buenos autores, pues al tener las herramientas necesarias y buenas referencias podemos mejorar como bloggers y subir el nivel de calidad de la plataforma.

My criteria as a curator
I mostly cure content related to artistic branches and value publications made in good quality. What do I mean with this? Posts with valuable content, which maintain a clean aesthetic and were written with good spelling and grammar. When a post meets these basic points, it is easy to see that the author has taken great efforts in it. Looking at these points I determine if it's a quality post.
More precisely, I value:
- 📝Articles that provide valuable content, original works, and diffusion of relevant information about other people.
- 👥 Publications that open the debate or encourage interaction between the community.
- 🎯 Precise posts that get to the point. I don't think an article should be too long to be good, the crucial thing is that it achieves retention and transmits a message.
- 🎧 Music with a high production, as well as those with a minimum of audio quality but a good performance in the piece they are playing.
- 🎬 Reviews about films, series, or music that have a depth of analysis, better still if it is about independent artistic content because it opens a space for the dissemination of unknown artists, so the branch of reviews is something that I support a lot despite not being 100% original content.
- 📸 Creative photographs that have good quality, and whose post contains the creative process or the meaning behind the work, in other words, not just a pretty picture and three lines of text. The same applies to designers and illustrators, where in addition to good work is important the context of what they represent.
As there are very good artists in Hive and their art deserves recognition, I value every work whose result reflects being made by people who know the area, who have probably been dedicated to their craft for years. I also understand that there are beginners in various areas, my support to these people is mainly to give them sources that can be useful to improve in what they are learning 😉. They have my vote as long as they show these works as a learning process and not as professionals in the area. Honesty is fundamental, seeing how someone improves and grows up is also something beautiful that deserves to be recognized once the results start to be good ✅
In terms of the percentage, I generally decide to vote between 100% and 50%, depending on which publications I come across. The votes I give at 100% are the ones that meet my quality standards, but there are many other posts that I vote at a lower percentage, this happens when:
- 😵 An article has good content but the aesthetics are not neat and organized, so I find it uncomfortable to read.
- ✂️ It doesn't have subtitles to organize the information and segment the post in parts.
- 🖼 A publication is very full of images that are wrongly distributed.
- 🤓 I find the content attractive in principle but the wording used results rambling or full of technicalities.
- 🎤 The musical content doesn't have a clear audio or the video doesn't have a good presentation. For example, a cover recorded in a messy room, where the performance is not understood because of poor audio quality, does not get my 100%.On the other hand, if the audio was not made with microphones, but despite this, the sound is understood, the musician's performance is excellent and also it was recorded in a nice space, like a park or an affluent room, that I value with 100% of my vote.
It could be said that within the subjectivity of my tastes I always maintain the criteria of quality, be it in one area or another. I consider it important to support authors who always maintain a level of quality in their work even if they don't publish every week. As a curator, I choose to value quality more than quantity 💯
My criteria as a content creator
Because I'm new to HIVE (this is my first week) I'm going to give my answers to this section based on my experience in Steemit, because even though it's a different platform I think some of my anecdotes could be useful, since I was active there for almost two years. Let's start! 🙌
The first time that one of my posts was rated I was as excited as anyone else, but what really motivated me was to start frequently winning contests, since besides having a reward in prizes I was left with something much more valuable: Confidence. Thanks to my participation in contests like the Steemit Vision Quest (organized by @cabelindsay) I managed to lose the fear of showing my creations, photographs, videos, and writings. I started to interact with a very friendly community and thanks to the interaction with them I got much more confidence as a creator. At the same time, many of my friends at the university began to see my publications on the platform and told me in person that they liked what I was doing. In the end, this was one of my biggest motivations, the support of the people 😊
It may be obvious that those of us here are looking for monetary rewards, but for myself I enjoy the interaction, seeing the comment box, and knowing that there are people who read my content and have something to contribute is something I enjoy 🌈

As a creator I try to make people feel that they are talking to me and not reading an analytical and tedious paper 🤷🏻♀️, that's why I try to be a bit eloquent in my way of expressing myself and I use emoticons in my publications because even though they don't look "serious" I think they help to transmit my essence better in the post 😌. I also translate my content and try not to exceed 10 minutes of reading time, to avoid taking up too much of other people's time.
On the other hand, I have never made my content based on a specific curator 🤔, the times when I adjust to certain parameters is if I am participating in a contest and therefore I follow the rules of it, but in general lines, I never write thinking about the curators, I like to write about my works and about topics that are of my interest 🤗, like the areas of music and audiovisuals. I try to do things right, not because of the curators or the money, but because I could not forgive myself for making a post that is ugly or that I consider mediocre 😰, I would simply be embarrassed and ashamed to upload something that even I am not convinced of 🤷🏻♀️. We have to keep in mind that in the blockchain nothing is erased, so we have to try to do our best 💪.
Although I'm new to HIVE I understand the importance of making life in the community, comment on the publications of others can really motivate them to continue creating and improving their content, as it happened with me 🌈. Besides this, it is fundamental to support each other, which doesn't mean voting for my friend's content even if it is badly done 🤷🏻♀️. On the contrary, one of the ways we can help each other is by sharing knowledge, tools, and spreading among us the content of good authors, because having the necessary tools and good references we can improve as bloggers and raise the platform's quality level.
