Krishna Janmashtami Festival Celebration And Few Pics Of Our Children As Little Krishnas

Hi Friends,

Combined.jpeg

India is known for the festivals it celebrates, the rich culture it has. Infact, the festival season has begun in India with Krishna Janmashtami just completed and festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi and festival of lights, Diwali will be celebrated soon!!!

Well, for that matter, India celebrates one or the other festival every month.

We have another great festival, Ganesh Chaturthi coming up next and it will be celebrated in the Second week of September this year, Tenth September to be precise and we all will be eagerly waiting for that next as we have already started with preparation.

And the next one after that is even bigger and it's the festival of lights celebrated across India and kids will love it more for all the crackers they get to lit up and it's the festival of Diwali

For now, here I am sharing few details of our celebration of Krishna Janmashtami and few pictures of my 2 little ones dressed as Lord Krishna.

Sampreet as Lord Krishna:

My younger son Sampreet is someone who doesn't sit in one place and keeps doing something whole day.

Containing him to sit quietly to get him ready for the makeup of Lord Krishna was something we couldn't do it completely and we have to offer him lots of Chocolates and tell him we will give this and that and here I am sharing few pics of him as Lord Krishna.

As we see, we were able to get him smile a bit and he was good looking in those costumes and ornaments we used for him with the highlight being his smile :), take a not of Lord Krisnha's famous companion, the flute on his head in golden color :)

Sampreet is the naughtiest guy here around with all his fun activities, singing, and his acting as many filmy characters makes him the darling infront of all of us and our neighbors.

Indians consider Lord Krishna as the greatest of all and there is a huge temple for Lord Krishna at a place called Mathura which is in the state of Uttar Pradesh in North India. Infact, there are many Krishna temples across India, but the one in Mathura is more famous because, it's known to be the birth place of Lord Krishna.

Isn't that smile is cute in the above pic by this little Krishna?

Oh, what this little Krishna is thinking off, the butter? the cows? or about his friends like the Lord Krisna? hmm, not sure, but this little Krisna is fond of Chocolates, Guns and JCB's, oh yeah :)

Samarth as Lord Krishna:

Our elder son Samarth is bit of shy kind of person and making him agree to become Lord Krishna was another task we have to sweat it out and FINALLY, he agreed to do so and here are few of the nice photos I want to share with you all.

Samarth6.jpeg

Well, this sitting pose of Lord Krishna was taken almost at the end of our photo session and Samarth was looking tired with all those ornaments and still he is looking cool, isn't it?

Samarth likes to play sports such as Cricket, Football and he likes drawing different cartoon characters such as Spiderman, the puppies in paw patrol cartoon show.

Another one with Lord Krishna in giving blessings pose with his open palm. I have to appreciate Samarth's mom's efforts in getting him ready like this and her patience as well.

Samarth was happy to be Lord Krishna although, initially he didn't want to do so and he is someone who is very shy guys and his teachers keeps saying so.

Lord Krishna performing with his famous flute and this modern Krishna is also performing with those SWAG symbols as we can see from his fingers :)

Lord Krishna is known for his blue color because of the poison he drank to protest the people of Nandan wan, the place of Lord Krishna as he was known to fight many bad evils and rakshasas.

The above photo is the pick of all as for as the photos shared here as it almost resembles the photo of the Lord Krishna we have seen over the years, oh, he looks so beautiful, right?

I have decided to take a bigger matte finish of this photo as this looks so resembling the original Lord Krishna photos we have, thanks to all the effort put in for these.

This is another nice one with a little different expression and pose, but, it is also the one like previous one which is almost identical to the photos we have been seeing.

Last on my blog is the above photo and this is even more perfect one among all the ones I shared here.

Kids do enjoy these kind of dressing up and getting ready to pose as long as they enjoy the festival celebrations and when they grow a little old, they won't feel like doing such things as they might feel shy or they will have other things to study, to play sports and other things.

Lord Lrishna is one of the most famous mythological characters in India and it is even more in North India where Lord Krishna is the center of attraction each and every day.

It's good to have such festivals and celebrations to bring out the unity and bring out the culture to the fore and yesterday's celebration of Krishna Janmashtami across India inspite of pandemic Corona shows how much the people likes and loves Lord Krishna.

Thank you all as always for all the love and support I get from you all and I hope you did enjoy this blog with the pics of these 2 little Krishnas.

I am someone who just keeps blogging about Sports and Splinterlands, but this will be a refreshing one from me and next up will be the blog about our celebration of Lord Ganesha festival in couple of weeks time and I will be eager to bring another blog on festivals :)

P.S: All the images are captured from my Oppo F9 Pro mobile.

Have a great day ahead :)
