Hoy quisiera hablar sobre esas razones que me motivan a estudiar y ejercer la medicina y así mismo invitarlos a hablar sobre eso que les apasiona sea lo que sea, nuestra vida se trata de vivir haciendo lo que nos gusta y así encontrar un sentido y que hacemos algo maravilloso para el mundo y para todos. Es la motivación de hacer lo que queremos la que nos cambia la vida, el rostro, el semblante y los ánimos. El motivo por el que despertamos día a día.

Today I would like to talk about those reasons that motivate me to study and practice medicine and also invite you to talk about what you are passionate about, whatever it is, our life is about living doing what we like and thus finding meaning and what we do something wonderful for the world and for everyone. En mi caso la medicina es lo mejor que me ha pasado, aunque es una carrera demandante y difícil de llevar por la complejidad de la misma y que se debe tomar con mucha responsabilidad y carácter. ° Me apasiona estar en el hospital, desde ponerme la bata hasta poder diagnosticar una enfermedad, eso me llena y me gusta muchísimo. Me da una sensación de satisfacción y de cierta forma me brinda seguridad. Ser el primer contacto de otro ser humano para ser tratado.

° I am passionate about being in the hospital, from putting on my gown to being able to diagnose an illness, that fills me up and I like it very much. It gives me a feeling of satisfaction and in a way it gives me security. Be the first contact of another human being to be treated.

° Siempre me he interesado por el bienestar del otro ser humano, aquí va de la mano la empatía, el amor y las ganas de ayudar a otros sin recibir nada a cambio. Es satisfactorio ver la cara de los pacientes en agradecimiento a nuestras acciones, es algo que no se compara con nada. Lo mejor es cuando te saludan en la calle o cuando das de alta a un paciente a su hogar.

It is satisfying to see the faces of patients in gratitude for our actions, it is something that is not compared to anything. ° Ayudar no solo a pacientes en el hospital, ayudar a mis familiares. De pequeña presencié muchas pérdidas familiares de enfermedades crónico degenerativas principalmente. No entendía por qué un familiar debía partir. Quiero ser de utilidad para mi familia en todos los aspectos.

° Help not only patients in the hospital, help my relatives. As a child I witnessed many family losses from chronic degenerative diseases mainly. He did not understand why a relative should leave. I want to be of use to my family in all aspects.

Realmente son muchas las razones por las que me gusta el ejercicio de la medicina. Podría escribir una hoja completa porque realmente hay razones suficientes. Lo cierto es que me siento plena al hacer lo que me gusta. Y no digo que sea solo eso, solo que la medicina es mi prioridad. También me encanta cocinar, me encanta escribir, hacer manicura y demás.
