Hola mis amigos queridos amigos de Hive, hoy vengo muy entusiasmada a participar en la iniciativa propuesta por mi gran amiga @nathyortiz, Iniciativa : 21 Días reto fotográfico, apenas vi de que trataba me gustó porque siempre he hablado en mis publicaciones a partir de una imagen. No sé ustedes pero siempre busco esa foto antes que nada y a partir de allí fluyen mis pensamientos, mis recuerdos y comienzo a escribir una historia.

Hello my dear friends dear friends of Hive, today I come very excited to participate in the initiative proposed by my great friend @nathyortiz, Initiative : 21 Days photo challenge, as soon as I saw what it was about I liked it because I have always spoken in my publications from an image. I don't know about you but I always look for that picture before anything else and from there my thoughts flow, my memories and I start writing a story.

    Hoy quiero contar una historia que me encanta y está llena de muchos recuerdos que quisiera volver a repetir. Aunque mis hijos ya están grandes me gustaría a vivir neuvamente la experiencia de pasear por todo el estado Mérida y conocer cada rincon que tiene Venezuela para dar.

    Estas imagenes forman parte de una serie fotográfica que tengo guardadas desde Diciembre del 2011 cuando fuimos a conocer el Estado Mérida, muy cerca de mi tierra natal en el Estado Táchira.

Today I want to tell a story that I love and is full of many memories that I would like to repeat. Although my children are grown up now, I would like to live again the experience of walking all over the state of Merida and know every corner that Venezuela has to offer.

These images are part of a photographic series that I have saved since December 2011 when we went to visit the state of Merida, very close to my homeland in the state of Tachira.

    La verdad es que Mérida es muy grande y tiene muchas cosas para conocer, es imposible que en un solo viaje puedas ir a todos esos sitios turísticos fabulosos que Mérida nos ofrece. En el año 2011 fuimos por primera vez y quedamos con tantas ganas de volver que en Diciembre del año siguiente repetimos la aventura.

The truth is that Merida is very big and has many things to know, it is impossible that in one trip you can go to all those fabulous tourist sites that Merida offers us. In 2011 we went for the first time and we wanted to go back so much that in December of the following year we repeated the adventure.

    El Parque La Cascada de la India Carú, es un sitio muy hermoso de la población de Bailadores Estado Mérida. Cada lugar que visitamos estaba dentro de un itinerario de 5 días que tratamos de aprovechar al máximo, cuando digo tratamos me refiero a mi esposo José y mis dos hijos Fabián e Israel quienes en ese momento eran unos niños apenas. Definitivamente este parque no podía quedar por fuera; estaba planificado para ser visitado el último día cuando fuéramos de regreso a mi tierra natal en el Táchira donde pasaríamos los días de navidad y fin de año.

La Cascada de la India Carú Park is a very beautiful place in the town of Bailadores in the state of Mérida. Every place we visited was part of a 5 day itinerary that we tried to make the most of, when I say tried I mean my husband Jose and my two sons Fabian and Israel who at that time were just kids. Definitely this park could not be left out; it was planned to be visited on the last day when we went back to my homeland in Táchira where we would spend Christmas and New Year's Eve.

    Este parque posee un encanto sin igual, desde el mismo momento en que te acercas entras en contacto con la naturaleza, hay ríos, cascadas y muchos árboles. La gente entra y sale, al llegar a la cascada más alta te todas las fotos y sales corriendo porque el frio te hace temblar.

    Así que lo que más les recomiendo es que lleven bastante abrigo ya que realmente hace mucho frío.

This park has an unparalleled charm, from the very moment you approach it you come into contact with nature, there are rivers, waterfalls and many trees. People come in and out, when you get to the highest waterfall you take all the pictures and run away because the cold makes you shiver.

So I recommend you to bring warm clothes because it is really cold.

Allí puedes pasar un día agradable compartiendo con tu familia y amigos. Hay muchos sitios para sentarse y hacer un picnic, también hay venta de comida pero se pone full porque todo el mundo quiere comprar, así que te recomiendo que mejor lleves todas tus provisiones. Nosotros no comimos allí, al salir del parque nos fuimos a un restaurante que esta como a medio kilómetro de la entrada principal y nos atendieron como unos reyes. Comimos de todo y nos regalaron unos bocadillos mientras esperábamos una parrilla mixta que habíamos pedido.

You can spend a nice day there with your family and friends. There are many places to sit and have a picnic, there is also food for sale but it gets crowded because everyone wants to buy, so I recommend you to bring all your supplies. We didn't eat there, when we left the park we went to a restaurant about half a kilometre from the main entrance and they served us like kings. We ate everything and they gave us some sandwiches while we waited for a mixed grill that we had ordered.

    Otra cosa que me gustó mucho fue que por tratarse de los días decembrinos nos deleitamos con un grupo de niños parranderos quienes nos entretuvieron con cantos alegres y bromas que hacían reír a los presentes. También he hay mucha seguridad, tanto en el estacionamiento como dentro del parque. De verdad es muy bueno y me gustaría volver ahora este año para distraerme un poco de tanto luego de tanto encierro que hemos pasado con todo esto de la pandemia..

    Espero que les haya gustado mi historia, de verdad este parque es un lugar mágico donde puedes disfrutar realmente de la naturaleza y desconectarte un poco de la selva de concreto donde vivimos.

Another thing that I really liked was that since it was Christmas time, we were entertained by a group of children who entertained us with happy songs and jokes that made us laugh; there was also a lot of security, both in the car park and inside the park. It really is very good and I would like to go back this year to distract myself a little bit after all the confinement we have been through with all this pandemic.

I hope you liked my story, this park really is a magical place where you can really enjoy nature and disconnect a bit from the concrete jungle where we live.
